And here is the second part of Olivia’s question – she wants recommendations for this very specific trope!
Iβve recently re read Paradise by a Judith McNaught, one of my favorites!
I am dying to know what are your favorite rich heroine/poor hero or (blue collar hero)?? And also rich heroine and poor hero who comes back later into her life wealthy like her or more.
Love all your recommendations!
Thank you!
Have a favorite recommendation or 2? Or 5? LOL! π
Maryse: Off the top of my head, I DO have two “Rich Girl/Poor Boy” recommendations which I loved! Hopefully I remember some more:
- Finding Home by Lauren Baker & Bonnie Dee <— Not so much that she’s wealthy, but she’s an established reporter, and he’s homeless. Also, very forbiddeny! One of my all-time favorites EVER. Here’s my Book Review.
- New Life by Bonnie Dee <— She’s an attorney, and he’s the janitor that works in her office building… Also VERY good!! Here’s my Book Review.
Oh, this is a trope I really like. Have read a bunch but the first two I can think of off the top of my head are The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang and Bad Princess by Julianna Keyes. Iβll think of more.
Unbreakable by Emma Scott. Sheβs a big time lawyer and heβs a journeyman.
Some of my favourites…happy reading!
Rock Chick Regret by Kristen Ashley (mafia heiress)
Bounty by Kristen Ashley
Grin and Beard It by Penny Reid (actress)
The Great Escape by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (political daughter)
Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Bane by L.J. Shen (oil tycoonβs daughter)
First Lady by Susan Elizabeth Phillips is another one. She’s the former president’s wife in hiding on the run to escape her high profile, too much managed life. He’s a lowly journalist not looking for a story. They end up on a crazy road trip in an old Winnebago with two kids. It’s a great read. I think The Great Escape is about one of the kids from this book when she’s all growed up.
