Following my heart, one book at a time...
Tanya needs our book help, and I must admit, this is probably the shortest reader question I have ever received. 😉 In fact, most of the question is also the title of this post. LOL!!
That said, there is enough specific detail that I’m sure it will spark someone’s memory, so here it is:
She asks:
Need help with a name of a book.
What’s the name of the book with the girl who is a baker and the specialty mechanics that put a stereo into her delivery van?
<— Revved to the Maxx IS LIVE & HOLY MOLY GROUCHY MECHANIC ALERT!!!
Brand new romantic comedy from NYT Bestselling author Melanie Moreland. This small-town is about to see fireworks when feisty Charly starts to organize more than Maxx’s life.
And to celebrate, the author is here sponsoring today’s Friday Finds newsletter, and she’s got a 5 Fun Facts about the book (like the super-sassy heroine, and how that cover model up there, prompted her to action), plus she’s giving away a signed copy (and it’s open Internationally!!!) 🙂
Estela: I read recently So, that got weird and It was unputdownable. Thank you for suggesting it by the way 🙂
Britt: Finished In 2 days !!! Great read ! Has a she’s all that (the Movie) kinda vibe. Thanks so much for the recommendation!
And here is the second part of Olivia’s question – she wants recommendations for this very specific trope!
I’ve recently re read Paradise by a Judith McNaught, one of my favorites!
I am dying to know what are your favorite rich heroine/poor hero or (blue collar hero)?? And also rich heroine and poor hero who comes back later into her life wealthy like her or more.
Love all your recommendations!
Thank you!
Maryse: Off the top of my head, I DO have two “Rich Girl/Poor Boy” recommendations which I loved! Hopefully I remember some more:
Olivia needs our book help, and this one is sort of two fold, so I’m separating it out into TWO posts. 🙂 She’s looking for a specific book in this “rich heroine/blue collar hero” trope, AND she’d love more recommendations in this trope, too. 🙂
She asks:
I remember reading a book a while back, she was wealthy and he was a construction worker I believe?
He saved her life one day when she was walking down a street, she was very rich and they were both older not college aged.
