Mony is one of our huge contributors here when it comes to book recommendations, and reader questions and I AM SO THANKFUL and grateful to have here as part of our book crew. She is so much fun, and she’s a fellow Canadian!! 😀

Reader Favorites – Nancy’s Top 20 Best Books of 2020 List

YAY NANCY!!! She’s been my LONG TIME book buddy, and also, we message each other almost every day, so I loved hearing about all of her fun stuff over the last year.

  • She physically moved and renovated her cottage (GORGEOUS),
  • she kept me company by sending me beautiful pictures of snow, and her family (graduations, trips to Austin Texas <— OMG her nephew’s place is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! – and birthdays). I miss my family so much. ❤️
  • We BOTH love books that take place in Alaska, and love reclusive heroes BIG TIME!!!
  • She also helps me find book-bargains, and sends me her latest recommendations, and we exchange our “blasts from our book past”, when an amazing one comes up! She sent me photos of her own actual book collection. YOU SHOULD SEE her fully-loaded (overflowing) bookshelves and her book-filing system. She is the epitome of a book lover, it’s just incredible!

Here are some highlights 😉

Nancy: I write everything down and when you mentioned FLAT OUT LOVE, I had to go back and see when you recommended it. I thought you would appreciate seeing all the books you recommended in 2011. It was a good year.

Nancy: These are about a dozen of my hand written notebooks keeping track of books since 2013. My memory has gotten that bad. I also have 3 file boxes full of reviews & notes. These are my file boxes of my 450 reviews. I keep them in the guest bedroom. This bookcase is stuffed full of paranormal books that I read before I owned a Kindle. read more

YAY R!!!! I LOVE her lists, and I’ve always found that she and I ALSO have similar book tastes (especially with books that have surprise twists!!).

And… she’s loves to cook. She’s my decadent foodie friend and in fact, I get a lot of my tips and tricks & ideas from her – like steaks in the air fryer!!! HOLY MOLY that turned out amazing. We love discussing kitchen gadgets (and recipes) with her, though she claims…

HEROES WHO ARE STILL VIRGINS REQUEST!! <— Oh I LOVE this reader request!! In fact one of my very favorite books ever (that one to the left), featured EXACTLY what Jaime is looking for.

And already, I’m getting so many awesome reader recommendations. I was going to wait a few days to put this up, but no time like the present. We are on FIRE for these heroes!!!

What to Read After The Bridgerton Series…

<— This Netflix series (adapted from the original book series) is ALL THE RAGE right now and has taken our romance book lovers by storm! So I posted the series reading order (including the prequels-spinoff & novellas) so that we could devour them to our hearts content. But… we needed even more. 😉 Hence this new list!

Jan: Wow. The Duke and I (Bridgerton) is currently #1 in amazon kindle Australia store. Book 2 is at number 4, and three of the other books are up there in the rankings too. It’s been a popular series of books ever since it came out, but the netflix series is obviously bringing it to a whole new group of readers. Yay for historical romance! read more
