January 27, 2015 By Maryse 102 Comments

<— Okay is today the best book day in the world, or what? The new releases and even the bargains are blowing my mind!! I don’t know which to one-click and start reading first.

Well no… WE ALL know what I’m reading today, because MADDOX BROTHERS that’s why. LOL! That’s just a given. 😉 The Maddox brothers rock my world, especially one particular bad-ass brooding book boyfriend. Travis is my forever book-boyfriend. But I’m always curious if there’s another Maddox brother that can affect me as much as he did. Thank goodness he has so many brothers. More fun for me. For us!! 😀 read more

UPDATE: THEY ARE ALL LIVE RIGHT NOW!! 😀

Okay so we know tomorrow’s main NEW RELEASE list is gonna be huge. It always is and I LOVE making it ’cause it allows me to browse hundreds of book blurbs so I can find all sorts of “new-to-mes” that I can’t wait to get to. But until I start browsing ’em all, I figured I’d highlight some of the VERY highly anticipated releases tonight.

‘Cause I know SO many of us will be reading the next bad boy Maddox brother, or the next bad boy MMA fighter, or the next bad-boy biker, or the next bad boy bossy-billionaire, or the next bad boy rock star or the next bad boy vampire. 😉 And so on, and so on… From Jamie McGuire to Kresley Cole, to Maya Banks to Jeaniene Frost… we have our reads cut out for us! Tomorrow is gonna rock! Or will it rock at midnight tonight? Or will it be closer to 3am? I guess depending on your time zone will depend on their release but either way… YAY US!!! read more

Latest Bargain e-Books & Reader Recommendations – January 23rd 2015

January 23, 2015 By Maryse 163 Comments

<— First… I was talking about this one yesterday on my blog (it’s what I’m currently reading and loving – it’s a psychological thriller and everyone seems SO messed up – FUN!!!) and I paid full price for it. And now…. as of today it’s on sale. *squee!*

I’m going to try a new “format” today… And maybe if we love it, I’ll continue this post like this every week. Since the 2015 Reading Challenge has encouraged me to branch out in my reads, I’m finding all sorts of good stuff that I wouldn’t normally choose for my blog, and loving it. Considering my love for psych-thrillers, and how I’ve loved (and many here LOVE) historicals, and of course, we still love our paranormals, and the HUGE dystopian craze going on, I figured I’d find us bargains (or reader recommendations) in each of our most favorite genres. read more

5 of Today’s Brand Spankin’ New Releases (and what I’m currently reading…)

January 22, 2015 By Maryse 9 Comments

Here are a few of the latest releases that look too good to wait for.

And!! I’m currently reading one that is TOTALLY up my “old” alley. “The Girl on the Train: A Novel” <— One of mystery and intrigue and kind of creepy-scary by way that every seems a little nuts, but sad, and I dunno. Something bad… really bad…. just happened.

Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. “Jess and Jason,” she calls them. Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost. read more
