Following my heart, one book at a time...
Happy Mother’s Day!! Look at these wonderful new freebies to add to your e-reader (my mom is ecstatic about this)!! LOL!
NOTE: Free and bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.
Free and bargain paranormal e-books that you can read on your Kindle, or even on your computer with the Kindle software. (NOOK USERS: I’ve been told that often, many of these freebies and bargains are also available on the Nook).
This has been up for a month or so, and we’ve been having a blast, but I just realized I didn’t formally introduce it on my blog. It’s up there in the right hand corner of my main menu bar called “Discuss” (see it there?). You can create your own account on it, or connect through your Facebook.
Main parts in our discussion form: Spoiler Forum (so we can discuss every bit of our favorite books without “spoiler warnings” – what we thought, what we loved, what made us cry, what made us gasp in shock. All that good stuff.)
Look what I just received in my email today!! Fellow reader and Charlaine Harris enthusiast, Lisa, just sent me a quick Q&A recap of last night’s book signing!
“Went to Q&A and book signing last night. She is very personable, funny, etc. Of course, I knew she would being a Southern lady (LOL). I am typing up some of the Q&As to share with my bookclub. I would be happy to forward to you if you would like to share with your readers as well.”
Heck yah!! Thank you SO much Lisa. I love inside news and upcoming series tidbits, and this certainly had me smiling. And pictures, too!! I admit, I still have to read Deadlocked (the latest in the Sookie Stackhouse series), and I’m getting all sorts of feedback on it. Some people happy, some people… not so much. Eeeeeep!! I’m scared of what that means, considering how the last book ended.
Quick Update —> Just a few days left to be a part of this fundraiser and have a chance to win over Fifty signed books!! Colleen just updated us with this quick blog post:
“The end of this contest is Friday, 11th but it will probably run through Saturday until I can get to a computer. You still have a few more days to donate and enter for a chance to win over fifty signed books!“
—– (here was my original post from back in April) —-
One of my favorite authors is helping out a family in need, and so many wonderful authors have contributed their signed novels to this worthy cause (over fifty books!!). This library of books will go to one lucky reader in a drawing, and all you have to do to enter is donate $10. Your chance to win an amazing prize!! Check out her website for full details and to help out!!
Remember that book Seithe I read a few weeks ago (it was on one of my freebie lists)? So dark, mysterious and addicting (at least I thought so). Book #3 in the series (Zauran) is free today!! And while I found that book #2 wasn’t as exciting for me, I’ve heard book #3 (Zauran) is as good as #1.
Oh boy…it’s a good thing my iPad can handle a ton of books, ’cause here I go again – just look at the crazy long freebie list!!
NOTE: Free when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.
