Since it’s Halloween month 😉 I thought, what better than to pull out an old favorite, that has something new for us! Look at the new series “Sookie Stackhouse/Trueblood” author, Charlaine Harris is working on! Sara highly recommends it!

Sara: I just finished Midnight Crossing by Charlaine Harris! I loved it and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Amy: Is it really good? I am gun shy after how she ended the Sookie series. I had really invested emotionally myself into the series…they way she ended it just was a afterthought and thrown together. read more

“Went to Q&A and book signing last night.  She is very personable, funny, etc.  Of course, I knew she would being a Southern lady (LOL).  I am typing up some of the Q&As to share with my bookclub.  I would be happy to forward to you if you would like to share with your readers as well.”

Heck yah!! Thank you SO much Lisa. I love inside news and upcoming series tidbits, and this certainly had me smiling. And pictures, too!! I admit, I still have to read Deadlocked (the latest in the Sookie Stackhouse series), and I’m getting all sorts of feedback on it. Some people happy, some people… not so much. Eeeeeep!! I’m scared of what that means, considering how the last book ended. read more

Woooo hooo! The next Sookie Stackhouse book release date and title below!

Charlaine stated on her Facebook page:

“And to be absolutely clear, there will be two more Sookie books, one in May 2012 and one in May 2013.”

I also included the release date and title of Vlad’s book (by Jeaniene Frost) and and!! the next book in Laurell K Hamilton’s “Anita Blake” series.

Book Review – Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris

Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 11)
Wow. This one worked for me, and I’m pleasantly surprised. I went into it thinking I was going to be sorely disappointed (as I was with the last two books), but that wasn’t the case at all.

You know when you get invited to go somewhere, and you’re getting ready to go, but you’re all bummed ’cause you’re so sure it won’t be your thing, and you’re going to have a miserable time? And then you go, and it ends up being so fun, and one of the most memorable experiences in your life? Well… okay, not to that extent with this book, but close 😉 read more

The day we’ve all been waiting for! Yes yesssss, I know. With the last two books in the series, I’ve complained that they were been big let-downs for me, and that I won’t be as excited when the next one comes out.  But come on people!!!
