Some of my favorite books have made a few of their best of lists including Christian Grey and his Fifty Shades in the BEST ROMANCE list:
Thank you Tina for this heads-up!!
“Maryse!!! You have to do an emergency blog post!!! EL’s Fifty Shades of Grey is one of the final nominees on Goodreads Choice Awards: https://www.goodreads.com/award/choice/2011#56042-Best-Romance “
I’m on it Tina!!!! *heart* YAY!! Okay, *phew* I did 🙂
Today’s latest book and author news (including a limited time bargain priced e-book, an early ScanguardsVampires release, and an update on Cat and Bones)!!
“I have some good news and bad news: Bad news… Beautiful Disaster paperback version has hit a small snag, which cost us a couple of weeks. :/ Good news…it’s coming!”
“Kiss the Dead (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter) was loud in my head, though confusing. The character growth and the plot are sort of arguing with each other, or rather the large cast is puzzling me as a writer. Tougher job for me, more fun for all you guys. :-)”
This new Beautiful Disaster book cover is absolutely GORGEOUS! To me, it symbolizes Travis and Abby’s love story, perfectly. The beautiful butterfly, caught in a jar. But think about… exactly who is the butterfly in the jar? You’d almost think it would be Abby, but I say it’s Travis. Or both of them, each in their own way. Which is why this book blew me away.
Author Jamie McGuire says:
Beautiful Disaster’s paperback edition will be available for purchase in just a few days! You will definitely notice something new about it. This news may be a relief to some, and disheartening to others. We all know BD’s cover has been nothing less than controversial. I loved it, and I know many of you did, too. But for those that just couldn’t bring themselves to buy it based on that eye-catching tongue…I present to you…Beautiful Disaster’s brand new cover, courtesy of Justin McClure.tv. I hope you love it as much as I do!
Some great new releases today, including a long awaited Dream Hunter novel (The Guardian) from Sherrilyn Kenyon (I keep seeing the commercial for this on TV – gorgeous commercial, but it really doesn’t say much about the story… LOL!!)
Also, there’s another Morganville Vampires installment, another Chicagoland (tons are telling me I need to get on this series ASAP!!) and a new release in Christine Warren’s “The Others” series.
