Kennedy Fox – Checkmate Series Reading Order

This one is listed as a “duet” but it looks like a third book coming out soon! Maybe a spinoff?

Chelli: Don’t know if this one has come under your radar but I just devoured Buttons and Lace by Penelope Skye. It’s dark, twisted and oh so good!!

Lisa M: I’m so excited to know when book 2 & 3 are coming out. Loved book 1. It was very dark. it reminded me of Pepper Winters’ & Skye Warren’s books. So with that compliment you know it’s a good one. Anyone else read it yet?

DYSTOPIAN/POST APOCALYPTIC ALERT!! This series was featured in one of our reader questions AND many of our fellow readers right here LOVED it. I think this one sounds right up my dark and creepy alley, and I AM SO IN!!

P.S. BOTH books are super-bargain priced right now!!!

Tasha: …I loved Thicker Than Blood- one of my favorite dystopians ever. I loved that it was more about the bond between the girls and survival with just a touch of romance. And I felt the characters were well written and relatable. That book got me out of a funk and put me right back in one, lol. … I also read Beneath Blood and Bone and there’s this part in it that I still have a question about and drives me crazy, though it’s a spoiler. I don’t think I can read book 3 though… read more
