New release from just a few weeks ago, and it has lots of amazing reviews already and was burning up the Amazon top 100 upon its release! So, consider me intrigued… Mind you, I do enjoy the sound of her best friend’s “reticent” brother. 😉

I just went CRAZY for another book from this author, and I was told this series was good, too! YAY!!!

bev: …Julianna Keyes. I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about her in a couple different places… About how her heroes can completely f-up. And, yeah a “jerk face” sounds fun, lol.

bev: Only 25% into Time Served and so far I’m liking it. The hero is kind of an *cough cough* They were highschool sweet hearts living in a very poor situation. She got a scholarship and left in the middle of the night, never looking back. He spent the next 8 years in prison for robbery. Their paths have just crossed again. read more

DARK READ ALERT with an anti-hero!!! Ooooh what a warning by the authors. eek Eeeeeeeeep! And it’s written by two tried-and-true authors (one that shocked the HECK out of me in the past and thrilled me to no end) so you know I’m intrigued (and a little scared!!) of this one! It’s a “serial” BUT!! All three books are coming out in June & July, and super-bargain priced, so barely any waiting required. Just a thrill (and I’m thinking a gasp-worthy one). I hope. 😉 PLUS!!! Karpov Kinrade – Vampire Girl Series Reading Order

This book appears to be all the rage right now (so many 5-star reviews in no time, it’s mind boggling), and a blurb that jolts me for sure. Touted as a “Twilight meets Outlander” series? HECK. YES! Plus, book #2 was JUST released, and is already skyrocketing up the bestselling charts, and so far it has ONLY 5 star reviews (over 50 of ’em). eek

Cristina: I read Vampire Girl last week and it was awesome! The authors do a clever job of taking the vampire angle in a new direction. I’ve always loved a good vampire story line, but the trick is to keep it fresh for readers. Our heroine makes a deal with the Princes of Hell and is sent to live in Hell to carry out her contract. She has to pick a Prince to marry and produce an heir. The Prince that she chooses to marry will become the new King of Hell. To aide in making this choice, she is to spend one month with each Prince before she makes her final decision. What made it so cool is each of the Princes represents one of the seven deadly sins (lust, pride, gluttony, etc.). Hell is divided into realms (based on these sins) and each Prince rules his own realm. This book is just the beginning of what I think will be a fantastic series! Each book is NOT a stand alone so there is a CH. I highly recommend if you’re in the mood for paranormal!! read more
