Following my heart, one book at a time...
In celebration of best-selling author Gena Showalter’s latest release “BURNING DAWN” she is having a giveaway! One (1) winner receives an Angel Wing bracelet (<—- ooooh pretty!!) & a 3 book set of the Angels of the Dark series.
Gena Showalter concocts a sultry tale that pulls readers farther into the treacherous and decadent world she’s fashioned, where angelic soldiers fight to vanquish demonic forces, in BURNING DAWN, the third installment in the electric Angels of the Dark series.
NEW RELEASE ALERT!!!
<— This new adult book was a “romance angst” super-hit last year, and now… we’ve got TWO more books to enjoy, ’cause they were both JUST RELEASED today! (see ’em below) 😀 And I know Lina and many of our fellow readers will be jumping for joy, considering their adamant recommendation of book #1:
Lauren: Very bad things is a very angsty 5 star read for me! I could NOT put it down I felt every single feeling! Whoa I’m still feeling things from it! … Absolutely swooning to the max! I love a book that gives me the “funny feeling” like a sudden whoosh of emotion that makes my stomach do flip flops!
STANDALONE “FORBIDDEN ROMANCE” SERIES ALERT!! Well, by that I mean, it would appear that each book in this series can be read as a “standalone” (even though they are “connected”). And okay well, you know why I had to highlight this series, dontcha? 😉 It’s got forbidden right in the title!!!!!
PLUS! I didn’t realize it at first, but the first book in the series is one that I already have HIGH on my TBR list. The first one: She has bad track record with relationships, but meets and becomes friends with a guy in college… and starts falling for him… “He could be my soul mate…except for one teeny tiny glitch. He’s a gigolo.” <— *EEEEP!* 😛
A new series by one of our favorite queens of comedy. Book #2 was just released with a third on the way soon. From bounty hunting to baiting and investigating potential cheaters, these books about three best friends turned investigators sound like fun!
Bethany: I’ve read the first one, book 2 is on my Kindle. Love her books!
Britton: I read the first. Short and funny read!
Stacy: Yes loved them both. Tara Sivec is hilarious!
About book #1:
War veteran Kennedy O’Brien is in the business of sticking it to the man—or at least any man who tries to cross a woman. After she returned home from Afghanistan and caught her husband in bed with the nanny, Kennedy lost her faith in men and started Fool Me Once Investigations with her two best friends. After all, there’s no better bounty hunter than a woman scorned.
New Adult angsty series alert! Book #3 just went live, and I remember reading and really enjoying book #1 a year or so ago. Lots of that tumultuous romance and “mean girls” melodrama to love (or love to hate). 😉 And of course… pushing away, hurting and getting hurt in the process. Check out my review of Bad Rep. 😀
And the really good news? All three books can be read as standalones AND! AND!! All three (including the new release).
Joanna: I just finished Bad Rep by A. Meredith Walters (got it last week I think after your Freebies and Bargains post) and it was SOOOOO good. Really think it’s your speed. Even reminds me of Beautiful Disaster!
