Following my heart, one book at a time...
Another bargain series alert. I was going to put it in today’s bargain post, but their are so many books I figured I’d just turn it into it’s own reading order guide. 😉 I haven’t read these yet, but a few of you have brought it to my attention.
Jamie just pointed this one out:
“Has anyone else read The Fallen Star series by Jessica Sorensen? I fell in love with these reads! All her books today are 99 cents and the first book of The Fallen Star series is free!”
In the mood for more “alternative” romance? This author’s books (and especially her “Masters”) are dark, daring, super-steamy, sexy and still fun! Here is another series that comes highly recommended!
Recommended by Anne:
“… her new book “My Liege of Dark Haven” is out! That solved that! Looks like it has gotten a lot of five star reviews from readers already. I love her books! You may already know about this, but if not, check it out!”
Really enjoyed the first book in the upcoming trilogy, and very much want to know more. Here’s the quick “gist” of it:
Sara involves herself in looking for “Rebecca”, a stranger who has recently just… “disappeared” and nobody seems too worried about it. After finding Rebecca’s private journals, Sara makes it her mission to find the truth. Entrenching herself into Rebecca’s prestigious and affluent “art” world, she meets two gorgeous and wealthy men, but there’s just something… off about them. Working for one, and dating the other she begins questioning if she be involving herself with either. And can she help herself not to?
It would seem everyone I know is pretty much going nuts over this author’s “Heller” series, and I’ve heard she has another series that is really good, too! So may I present to you, her Little Town series:
Tiffany: The Little Town series by J.D. Nixon is Great too!!! 2 books so far..Blood Ties and Blood Sport!! Takes a little bit to get into Blood Ties but stick with it and Your gonna Love these books!!! Love J.D. Nixons Heroines!! Tess and Finn/Sarge are as Awesome as Tilly and Heller!
If you liked Samantha Towle’s “The Mighty Storm” ( 😉 considering the HUGE response it’s receiving right here on the blog, I would say, you sure did!!) I wanted to mention that she has another series out, too. Vampires, but supposedly just as intense!
I haven’t read these yet, but as much as I enjoyed the romantic angst in her rock star book, I’ll certainly give her vampires a go. I’ve been told that it has a sort of slow build up in the first half of book #1, but that it really picks up soon after that, and that we will be hooked. I love when that happens!! *fingers crossed*
