I read book #1 “Curio” over the summer and really enjoyed it (check out my review here). In fact, it almost made yesterday’s “Top Five Summer Reads” list (as a “cheat” extra). Almost. Instead, I thought I’d save it for today and post it as a reading order guide. A short story, but kept me entertained for a few hours, and I actually didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. It had just enough depth and personal touches to make me forget how short this book really was.

Here’s one that I enjoyed! To celebrate it’s recent sign-on with a big publisher (and an upcoming new book release) I thought I’d put up the reading order guide, and some tidbits about the series! I read book #1 (my review here) and it’s follow up novella a month or so ago and really enjoyed the angsty tension! And so many of you agreed!
Dawn: Just finished both books. Only bought them yesterday but couldn’t put them down. Can’t wait for Taken By Storm and Given.
S.J. Frost – Conquest Series Reading Order
Highly HIGHLY recommended by my friend Jackie (when we were ranking our favorite heroes), and also recommended by SO many others (Amber and Lis to name a few more friends). Adamant discussions erupt in excitement when these guys are brought into the mix (note: this is GAY – m/m – rock star romance).
While Jackie was reading book #1 she emailed me and I knew EXACTLY how she felt:
“… but I wanted to share this book with you. It’s called Conquest by S J Frost. Its Rockstar based so it will tick boxes for you . The thing is , I’m about 1/3 of the way through it and I really care. Really really care what happens to these two guys. (It’s m/m – forgot to mention that.) You know when you are reading a book and its all happy and content – at the start of the relationship – well I’m still there. But I know its all going to go bad real soon.”
Raine Miller – The Blackstone Affair Series Reading Order
Here is a series that has been recommended quite a few times over the last week. If you ask me, I’d say it certainly has that “Bared to You” feel. So if you’re looking for more, this might be it!!
Tiffany: So I got a Recommendation on my Kindle account and I found Naked The Blackstone affair part 1 by Raine Miller and I am LOVING it…Pretty Hot. and sexy…Its Good!! I never trust the comparison thing to Fifty and its not like Fifty but it has the same older guy ..Younger woman kinda feel…Give it a look if you want your heart to skip a beat while reading…LOL!!
Suzanne Wright – The Phoenix Pack Series Reading Order
I hear this series is AWESOME and funny and steamy. I haven’t read ’em yet, but I KNOW I’m probably missing out going by the enthusiastic recommendations below. Here is the reading order guide for Suzanne Wright’s “The Phoenix Pack” series:
Missy: Hi Maryse, Just ran across a GREAT read by Suzanne Wright – Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack). Shape Shifters, bad boys, hot sex, really funny…Check it out! I loved the extremely sarcastic Taryn and the bad boy Trey! Mmmm-couldn’t put it down… It’s also 500 pages which I love because you really get to know the characters.
