<— This gritty bad-ass biker book (Fearless: The Complete Novel (Dartmoor Book 1) is making a few in my reading crew crazy! Happy, gritty, book-fog CRAZY!!! And I must read it now. NOW I tell you. Sure, I’ve just heard of a it a few days ago when Kandace fell in love with it, and sure… this was NOT a part of my latest and greatest TBR list, but how can I possibly resist when I am told stuff like this?
Kandace: FEARLESS was sooooooo good. It has a Cat Porter feel mixed with Madeline Sheehan grit. The first book has a lot of world building. It’s not perfect but the FEELS…
Maryse: YAY!!!! Actually I’m thinking of starting the book tonight! …and I’d love me some gritty right now!
Kandace: I’m a little worried it may be too long for a squirrel like you. LMAO… it’s a bundle of the series. so it makes it long. I love being immersed in a world. I think it was a serial and she bundled in to one book
Paula: I am reading Fearless by Lauren Gilley, really enjoying it – it is a whopper at 800 pages! only 50% through but have already downloaded the second one…
Maryse: haha! 😛 Well if the book is good, I like ’em long. *snort* It’s hard ’cause there are SO many that keep coming out and I’m all over the place when it comes to my reading. Back in the day… I’d indulge in a 2-week-long series binge no problem.
Amy: Now I’m REALLY intrigued with Fearless…a standalone biker book with 800 pages? How often do we get an MC story that is completed in ONE book?!?
Kandace: we are nuts about our books. it feels so good.
Georgia: It’s beyond words how good it is.
And my book-buds are just SO crazy for it, that they asked if they could do a “READER book giveaway” for it, to introduce it to more of us. And they want to make it clear… they DO NOT know the author, this is not a promotional thing… this is PURE READER LOVE and they just wanna share the love ’cause it was exactly what they were looking for.
Kandace: Maryse – We all just finished the Fearless book I posted on your page and we are big time obsessed with this book…. We were wondering if we could gift some copies on your page? We were thinking 10 copies. We are just so excited. You know how crazy we get about the books we love.
Britton: Let’s gift it out there so everyone can get these feels… Living the story not reading it. It’s all about the depth in this book !
Tracie: The writing is just incredible and I love the characters.
Britton: I loved everything about it because I want some backstory .. Just makes the journey that much deeper IMO. Those that truly love to read and can see a gem will love the characters and plot and the love story
I’m thinking it’s what WE are looking for, too. Take a look at what they sent me that prompted me to create this post:
Maryse – last week a few us read Fearless by Lauren Gilley and fell absolutely completely in LOVE with it.
After hours and hours of endless screaming of how much we LOVED this series we decided to make it our mission to get this book on everyone’s radar. The author only had around 200 likes on her author page and that seemed like sure a shame because this book is AMAZING! This book was originally published as multiple books and then bundled together. You’re getting a lot of story packed Fearless.
We would like to gift 10 copies of FEARLESS to your followers. This is not street team spam; this is straight up book love!
What is fearless about? My friend Slitty described it best, “It’s more than a motorcycle club book, it is suspense, crime, romance and a few other genres. It’s the jambalaya of the literary world”
…Clueless, Ronnie fiddled her hand and said, “Who is here?’
“Mercy,” she whispered, and just saying his name sent the waves of pain heaving through her again.
“Who?”
“Just…Mercy.”
Her ultimate ruination…
Tracie said, “I loved fearless because it felt like I was watching everything unfold in real time. My heart was beating so fast at the end. We got to see their world from so many different POV’s it felt like we knew everyone. The Lean Dogs MC are not good men, they’re alphas and criminals, but I loved them anyways.”
…The hurt that came spilling out of her heart and began to boil in her insides. Heartbreak was never cured; it just went into remission. And here it came roaring back, leaving her feverish and weak and unable to move…
Britton said, “I loved how they all loved. Each character loved in a different way but was exactly what the partner needed. I was immersed in this motorcycle club and all the action, drama and heartache that comes with it. We lived the story instead of just reading it.
…Whatever our souls are made of. His and mine are the same”
Ava wasn’t the poor unsuspecting woman who’d let the wild thing into the house, she was the wild thing’s mate, creeping indoors at his side…
Kandace said “This book doesn’t just center on the H and h, it includes several different side stories. As the book progresses the intensity just keeps coming and never lets up. Mercy is fierce, protective and all alpha male! And Lord have Mercy that boy can whip out some Creole terms of endearment that will make your heart flutter.”
“Then take a good look, fillette.” Mercy’s eyes lifted to hers, and their intensity was unfathomable. “Because this is what it looks like when a man wants to be inside you.”
Lori said, “All of that but I also loved how different the women were in this one. Ava’s absolute love for the club, Maggie’s strength and wisdom was amazing! And Mercy’s fierce love, that connection was intense.”
“What else can you give me, Felix?”
He held her gaze a long moment. Then he offered both his massive hands to her, palms-up and silver in the moonlight, lined and rough and achingly familiar, etched deep with violence, empty and waiting to catch her.
*ooooomph!!!!* YES PLEASE!!!

This book will be sent to the winners directly by us (the readers) that are so excited for it and having the giveaway. I think we’ll be “gifting” them to the winners from Amazon, right girls?
Oooh, that looks good, thank you!
Alright, book that I want to buy for everyone would be Acheron. Poor MichelleS has the audio and is getting lost, and that book put me in such a book fog the first time I read it that I read it again right away.
Gah!!! SHE HASN’T READ ACHERON?
Best book EVER!
Worse! She’s listening to it now, and they don’t include things like dates! So it sounds like one day the apocolypse, the next day, DH is formed, and two days later, it’s present time. Amy hasn’t read Acheron either! AND! MichelleS called Simi the annoying little demon girl!
LOL I found Simi annoying too. Funny… but annoying. 😉 Barbecue sauce… *snort*
Omgosh thanks for the chance!
Well the book I shoved at everyone including my husband after reading was The Edge of Never.
Sounds like a good one!! Oh my gosh it’s so hard to pick just one book I love so many that I read!!! I guess I will go with a recent read which is the Reapers Motorcycle Club Series which Kandace recommended to me. I just finished book 2 and I’m loving the series! I got about 5 people to read the first one so far!!! Thank you!
Me too Kat!!!! I went CRAZY for that one. Great choice! 😛
It looks good!!! 🙂 I would buy Sempre for all my friends b/c its a favorite
The book I wanted eveyone to read eas Perfect Chemistry by Simon Elkeles. Loved the depth of the story, the realistic setting and behavior by all the characters.
Thanks Maryse. One of the books that I would buy for all my friends would be Outlander. Something for everyone…romance, history, sci-fi (time-travel)!! 😉
The Vixen & the Vet was the 1st Katy Regnery Book I read & made me a fan of her writing. I gifted copies to my close book buddies whether they wanted a copy or not!
I bought my niece a copy of Sea of Tranquility because I felt it was a must read. I want to get her Hopeless and Slammed too.
The book Paula was telling us about with the Cajun hero.
Written in Red, or E&P, or Lisa Kleypas. 🙂
On the Island – I made my whole book club read that one. Sigh….loved it.
The book I would want everyone to read is Outlander with Thoughtless right behind it
I checked and apparently I already have Fearless, so this isn’t for the drawing but for some book love! I would say Sweet Gum Tree because it’s a “safe” one for everybody (I know not everyone likes to have their heart pummeled ;)) and my other safe faves, SoT and EoN, were already mentioned. So that’s mine…Sweet Gum Tree! 😀
Some of my favs are hopeless, sea of tranquility, beautiful disaster, thoughtless, the list goes on and on!!!
I am totally down with reading “Fearless”. I’m very excited to learn about this world.
As for the book I’d buy for all my friends: it’d be by Colleen Hoover — either “Slammed’ or “Hopeless” because both are amazing stories. Gah! My heart squeezes when I think of her books!
It looks like a story that will carry you away. I sure need that right now!
The book I’d make everyone read is Golden Dynasty – because when I see how few people have reviewed it on Amazon compared to some other books I just ask myself “why”? It has such a weird blurb and I avoided it for so long and then when I did read it I couldn’t stop talking about it.
Now THIS book sounds like something that is right up my alley. I don’t mind a long book (that’s what I first loved about KA books). And my biker obsession has not been sated yet.
Now what I want to know is….. if you were in the mood for gritty, M. Sheehan style gritty, why not go for “King”? If this ends up too long or something, don’t forget about King….. 😉
The guy actually does say the dates on the audio version – but something didn’t line up – we were in 9000 something BC and they were talking about present day stuff!! Okay – Simi is annoying at this point, but must get better later? Something to look forward to? Like Nix, in IAD? I am going to go back and finish, but I am trying to get my hands on the actual PRINT version so that this audio stuff doesn’t get in the way. Like…. the narrator’s voice is good as is, so why does he have to go all deep and weird when he is doing Acheron’s speaking parts? So annoying…. then his Simi voice? Oh GAH!
Sounds interesting, all the genre blending! I’ve never been a huge MC fan, but I love a long book! I’ve only read the Kristen Ashley MC books, and those I’ve enjoyed.
I’ve got all of my reader friends to buy The Pact by Karina Halle. Some have moved on to her other books, some have only stuck with the contemporary stuff. Either way, her books are awesome.
would recommend a book in the BDB series
Way too many to list…beautiful disaster, SoT, EoN…..
I haven’t read Acheron either… I do have most of those dark hunter books but I have to be up to the task of taking on a long series….
I think I am going to start Fearless tonight!! I would recommend Kulti to all of my friends!! I just love that book so hard 🙂
Lol I’ve never thought of Maryse having a problem with long books, like Fabi maybe even preferred them.
That would be funny, like I’ll only read books that are 200 or under, lol.
Oo..so many to choose from
The books I’d buy for my friends are: knight in shining suit by Jerilee Kaye(already got most of my friends to read it and they loved it), the psy changeling series by Nalini Singh, golden dynasty and With everything I am, both by Kristen Ashley and many more…….
So you just know I had to go and look up this book on Amazon, since readers are SO EXCITED they are giving away ten copies just to share the book love…. and…. now I want it pronto! And have to sit and wait for it just in case I randomly win? BOO! It’s the exact MC formula I like. Grumbling….. walking away…. going to go “listen to” Acheron….. grumbling some more…
Bev – I have a book buddy – neighbor – friend who won’t read many of the books I recommend because they are too long. She needs 200-300 pages so she can read the whole thing in one sitting. We go round and round all the time because there are so many she is missing out on.
Thank you for the great giveaway! One of my “fog” books that I raved about was “At Peace” by Kristen Ashley(probably a few of hers actually-wink)
The men of the Cold Fury by Sawyer Bennett. I love hockey men!
I’ve been trying to spread Josh Lanyon’s books to the masses recently.
Book or books I would but for everyone Sweetgum Tree & Sweet Dreams. Okay totally need, want, begging for this. How have I not seen this series? Seriously? My friends call me the biker (reading only though hey I might) club whore. Yep pick me. Adding to do list.
Wait also would recommend any of R C Ryan’s trilogies as well for those that like the tamer stuff.
This is so awesome!
Anything by KA! I love descriptions that transport you into the book universe and you feel like you know them all personally (which is a KA specialty). And if they are uber long, well that is just a bonus. So Fearless sounds right up my alley.
There is no denying it that “Undeniable” is breathtakingly hot!
Thanks for the chance! Sounds like an epic read!
Love biker books! Yay!
I had to share the Ella Frank series Try, Take, and Trust. Taboo topic, but excellent love story!
This sounds great, and with such an endorsement from you guys, it seems to be a must-read. Thank you for the chance.
Beautiful Disaster hands down is the best book I’ve ever read and would buy for all of my book friends and family. However, since I pretty much forced them all to read it right after I did, I’m pretty sure they already all have a copy. Lol
Thanks for the chance. There is no denying it that Undeniable is the best biker book. Loved it.
I’ve already got fearless but for book love… KMM’s Fever series! Love it got my Bookclub to read the first book….some read the whole series!
I have told everyone I know to read Outlander – one of my favorite series ever!
I would recommend “Lover Awakened” by J.R. Ward. I’ve reread it many, many times. You don’t even have to like vampire books to appreciate this story. LOVE IT!!!!
This series sounds just like what I need to read! I’m so glad that so many have mentioned reading these books it is my next purchases..
Thanks Maryse! ♡ the book i would recommend is after I do by Taylor Jenkins Reid, I love her writing stile. It doesn’t just become another book on the ‘read-shelf.’ It’s in a league of its own, and no matter how much time passes, the profound impact it’s made on me won’t diminish. This is one of THOSE books: the kind that will get you out of a book rut, continue your book roll, and is filled with the most meaningful quotes you won’t be able to stop highlighting.
The first book that comes to mind for me is Outlander. I’ve been telling people for years to read that series! Most recently, I wanted to buy a copy of Making Faces for all my book friends and family. Making Faces is one of those books that really stays with you in a quiet yet deep way.
I would recommend The Ground Rules by Rita Carmen to EVERYONE!!! It was Amazing!! It totally gave me every single emotion on the emotion wheel. I felt. I laughed. I cried. I laughed while I cried. Also my cousin hasn’t read it yet cause we were supposed to read it together but I couldn’t wait.
i was looking into this book just a few days ago. Now that the girls are giving it away, I am sold! I will buy my own copy right now! Just want to say that it’s real nice of the girls to give away these copies.
I think I’d want to spread Outlander (and old, old fave), Thoughtless (the first book I read on recommendation from your blog and I’ve been hooked on this genre ever since) and The Travelling Man (read recently, twice, and loved).
And thanks so much girls for wanting to spread the love x
On the island by Tracey Garvis Graves. My sister blamed me because she only had a few hours of sleep. She couldn’t put the book down! Would love to have a copy of Fearless. The synopsis is right at my alley!
Oh I love the sound of this book! I just finished Ride Steady by Kristen Ashley so i need another great one I can jump into! I have recommended Beautiful Disaster, all of Colleen Hoover’s books and of course Kristen Ashley’s books (to name a few) to my friends.
Pick me! Pick me’n
I loved Fearless by Lauren Gilley. She’s one of my favorite authors. This is a fantastic series! Her other books are great too.
Omg! Thank you for this opportunity. I was just reading the back cover of it the other day. Sounds really big dramas coming. Lol. Anyway, I gave two copies of Prince Of Shadow, A Romeo and Juliet novel to my niece and older sister. I’m a book junkie and my niece followed my lead after practically growing up as my book side kick<3. As for my sister, well, she used to like reading as much as I did, until she got married then she was a goner for the real world..(it doesn't mean I'm giving up on her.. So I gave her a copy too).
& my niece just turned 16 last week too.. So, guess what I gave her, (DRUM ROLL!!!!! AND I had a lot of thinking to do too.. SO many good books)…Nalini Singh, Psy-Changling Collections..I couldn't help it, everyone should have the full collections…(If you don't, you are soooo out of the book clubs:( … The latest one is Aidan's.. Shards of Hopes;)…

I know, it's probably still too mature for her, but I've had this series… and totally love it still. She'd asked me about the book like ten times since I got Slave To Sensation, soooo…..
Anyway, that's my share… Totally looking forward to this one… I'm really into the alpha male thing, but recently.. There's not alot that I would really like to reread like Kristen Ashley, Kristen Proby, Abbi Glines, Nalini Singh, Raine Miller, CL Wilson… Etc..etc… So I'm looking forward to this book and author… Again, lots of thanks for sharing<3
Would love to read Fearless! Undeniable left me in a big time brain fog! It was my first biker book too so that added to the appeal 🙂
I would definitely buy a copy of The Siren (The Original Sinners #1) by Tiffany Reisz to every one of my friends, if I didn’t already know the subject matter would appall some of them 🙁
Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.
Thanks so much for the chance to read another AMAZING sounding book! I love you blog and follow it religiously
This look exciting!! 😉 I would of course love to read it 😉 Perfect for my honeymoon who’s right around the corner 😉
Georgia said “it’s beyond words” good!!! I’m all in!!! Just read Ride Steady and it was absolutely perfect. Lots and lots of words and keeps you captivated! Favorite kind of read for me!!!
This book sounds great! I agree with Elle about The Siren but I wouldn’t give it away either because of subject matter. I would give away Outlander series.
Beautiful Disaster is still my favorite. And it was also the reason I found your blog, since I was searching for what to read after it…
And through you I also felt in love with everything written from Kristen Ashley. I would buy all her books to all my friends if I could !!!! 🙂
Thanks for the chance! I would make all my friends read The Bronze Horseman Series by Paullina Simons!
Seductions and Snacks by Tara Sivec so funny. I’d make sure they read all in the series.
I have to go old school. It would be 50 Shades!!
Any book by Susanna Kearsley.
Outlander! Loved that book and wish everyone will read it. Also any book by Kristen Ashley. She tells a romance like no other.
Asked my husband to read the first chapter of Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn … he took the book to work with him and finished it in a week and he doesn’t read a lot at all. I would give that book to all my book friends!
I would give ELEANOR & PARK by Rainbow Rowell to everyone. I freaking love that book! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
My favourite has to be 50 shades though. I’m supporting Tina Rausch on that one 😉 The Afterlife Saga is a good number two 🙂
Would love to read Fearless. Sounds great. Thank you for the opportunity for a free book.
I would recommend (and have often) Colleen Hoovers Slammed series and Maybe Someday and one of my favourites, How To Kill a Rockstar. Oh and Archers Voice or anything Mia Sheridan writes. xx
I have maryse on my search at all times so i can look at what books are being recommended. We have the same taste because I’ve loved all her top books. I have read all Madeline Sheehan bikes books, which have got me hooked on trying all biker series, renegade sons, the reapers motorcycle club and so many more! Would love this one too.. I’m hoping
I love your book reviews and have read numerous biker series books. Would like to read this one also..
Well looks like I’ll be reading this one! So many love it! Sounds great!
Too many books I love! Sea of Tranquility, Surviving Raine, Opportunist series, Captive in the Dark, and Fishers Light have been the most recent recommendations by me! Oh and Tristan and Danika!!!!!!!
My book fog was because of the Needing Moore series by Julie Richman. Could not put it down and recommended it to everyone I know that likes to read.
This book sounds great! You asked what book made me want to buy it for a friend? Kirsten Ashley’s The Golden Dynasty. Love, love, love, love it!
Wow, this sounds amazing! I am so of the thought to get my friend and my sister to read my favorite books/series. If I had to pick just one, because there were so many, it would probably be either the Sempre series or In the Company of Killers series…could not get enough!
Maryse,
I love, love Lauren Gilley’s books and I bought all of them, so I’m not asking to put my name in the drawing. I really like the recommendations, too.
I check your site every day.
Thanks for the chance!
The Art of Racing in the Rain by Gareth Stein. We have a sick doggy at home so this one has been on my mind lately.
I want!
I’m not sure which I love more – bikers or rock stars! Thank goodness there is plenty of great material out there. But series I’d recommend – hard to narrow down. Carnage gutted me, Outlander completely takes me out of the present, and Kit Rocha’s Beyond series to name a few. I know, all over the place here:)
I could never decide! I wouldn’t pick one of all the series that I follow except for maybe Outlander. I think I would pick a quick easy read instead of one of my longer ones and Asher was just a beautiful story.
Sounds like a good one! Hope I win! LOL
Thank you for the chance. Love to discover new authors and books. I would say that I wanted to by my friends any of the books from the Sensations Collection Series by LB Dunbar because all of them were fantastic. I love her writing. Thank you again.
I give and make everyone get Archer’s Voice, before that it was Beautiful Disaster and Slammed!!!!
As soon as I got your recommendation for Beautiful Disaster, I one-clicked it on Amazon. Before I even finished it , I gifted a copy to my BFF, and then when we both finished it, we told everyone we knew!!!!!!
I can not wait to read it , it sounds sooo good…
As many have stated .. so many books not enough time. Anything by Kristen Ashley. All her genres are amazing. Acheron an amazing book. BDB – Lover Awakened – Z’s story. By far the best MC series I’ve read thus far – Signal Bend Series – Susan Fanetti. Real, Raw and Simply amazing. You have to read it in its entirety. BOXES of tissues are a must nearby. Bought Fearless and the second book looking forward to a long read. Thanks Maryse as always. Georgia
OMG you got me hooked. Can’t wait to read!! 🙂
There were so many awesome books mentioned before which I really like a lot too. But my most favorite book I would give to my friends would be Bright Side by Kim Holden.
This looks awesome. I love big books! Thanks for the chance to win a copy.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Two books that absolutely enthralled me was Archer’s Voice and The Edge of Never!!
This book sounds amazing and thanks for the giveaway!!
I should be hiding instead of making a post here. I’ve never read a biker book. Ok, stop laughing. I’m serious. Read many of the reviews and comments on this one and it has caught my interest.
Well thanks for the chance but I couldn’t wait any longer! Lol!! Already one-clicked and starting it now!! 🙂
Hopeless, Sea of Tranquility, and probably The Edge of Never. Amazing “feels”.
I would love to buy a copy of Law of Moses by Amy Harmon for all my friends!! It was awesome!
I LOVE MC books! Cannot wait to read
This book sounds awesome.
i just one-clicked Fearless, yay,
I’d like to get Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid
This one looks so good. I’m in the mood for a good biker book! I would have to say the book I pass around the most is “On The Island”.
I even made my book club read it. They thanked me 🙂
I just created a FEARLESS GROUP if anyone is interested in joining. I can’t stop talking about my love of Mercy and I figured sooner or later my friends were going to put a gag order on me.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/940169386022094/members/
Not the most recent but had to share 50 shades with everyone!
I have to admit, I gifted Twilight to over a dozen people back when it came out. It started a reading frenzy amongst my friends — some who hadnt read a book in years! It was the coolest book fog for all of us and we all just kept passing the books to new people. Then that same group of girlfriends moved to 50 Shades and created a whole different kind of book fog! Lol! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity! I love, love MC books (especially Kristen Ashley, Madeline Sheehan, and my new fave, Cat Porter). Would love to give Fearless a try
Thank you for the chance! This book sounds fantastic! The book I wanted to buy everyone was The Ground Rules and Amber to Ashes both of them are exceptional, angsty, amazing reads!
Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick series.
A friend I work with at my college lent me her series on the last day of the semester. She said “call me when you’re finished.”
I snorted and said it would be when we came back for fall. I called her eight days later, and she laughed at me.
I’ve since returned her books, bought my own set, and have passed the ebooks on to others. Everyone who has gal pals needs to share the hot bunch!
I have a few MC books on my TBR list, but this one never popped up on my radar.
As far as gifting books….
Nocte – love that book and am still waiting ever so patiently for a recipient to read it!
And now it will also be Bright Side (fave I’ve read this year)
Also, With the Father – that book still has a little piece of my soul.
wow, 800 pages I’m up for that challenge. I’ve begged my friends to read Ugly Love and the Gabriel’s Inferno series.
I would gift SLOTH to all my friends!! All the feels!! All the steam! All the hanging on the edge of the page!
And hey Maryse–weren’t you going to read SLOTH?
Looks amazing! Really want to read it:)
I live in Alabama & my family is made up of A LOT of Southern Baptists….but I REALLY REALLY wanted my mom & sisters-in-law to read 50 Shades of Grey after I read & fell in love with it….I ended up having to gift the entire box set to a few of them (MOM & oldest brother’s wife were hardest to turn to the dark side). They all read….they all loved….& I finally had someone to talk to about the books!!!
Beatuful disaster is the first book I tell everyone to read
Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley is must for EVERYONE!!!
Oops… Wrong email there.. Teehee…too excited I guess.
I’m reading Fearless too, although I’m only 27% in…
