ES Bell’s book, The Dark of the Moon, was released today. 😀 A romantic fantasy! *squees*

I’m 50% through The Dark of the Moon and I’m currently hiding in my bubble bath reading. I’ve been here for well over an hour and I think soon I’m going to grow a merkind tail! It’s straight fantasy with romantic elements but it’s definitely not a romance. I can’t wait to hear what you think Tessa!

Tessa!!! How amazing crazy BLOW-YOUR-FREAKING-MIND AWESOME was episode 4 of GoT?!? Holy moly!! I LOVE Drogon and Daenerys and her other two dragons. I swear, if she doesn’t end up the ruler of the seven kingdoms or one of the dragons dies then we riot. RIOT, I tell ya!
Now, if she hooks up with Jon Snow and they rule together then that would be the bestest ever. 😉

Except she does tend to make some big mistakes. At least where I left off on in the books and show. She likes to default to might makes right in my opinion. Yes, abolish slavery but maybe do some thinking first so that your army and dragons is not the only thing keeping the region semi stable. So mimics the US in the Middle East. How are you going to leave. I was reading a review that worries she mimics Cersei in some ways.

I am reading one of my August challenge books today. Sparrow by L.J. Shen.

OMG I’ll be honest. I actually like Jaime. A truly dark thought, though. I think, in the end, either he’ll kill Cersei or Cersei will order his death.
If Lannisters are so fertile, why aren’t there more Tyrions running around? Also, we better stop due to spoilers. Let’s just say I know Cersei’s last reveal won’t stay.

I agree about Jaime and Cersei. It just can’t end well.
And as much as I loathe Cersei (even though I was gunning for her “shame” vengeance!), I have never loathed Jaime. He’s not all good but he’s not all bad either.
Dude, how about the old lady’s drop-the-mic moment? BOOM. Okay, I’ll stop now for fear of spoiling something. 😉

I don’t watch WD anymore, not sure if I’ll pick it up again, but Daryl along with Jamie are just favorite arcs. I like watching (reading)them. I wish our books did this more and took the time with them.
So, Justified was a great show. It is done now and I thought had a really satisfying ending. Very complex characters and amazing acting. One of the best antagonistic, but almost bromances ever. Just putting it out there. Seriously so fun to watch Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder.

About spoilers but not a spoiler. Don’t you ever wish you could just talk about it and all the details and not worry about spoiling anyone?
Though I have been spoiled before in bad ways. Like, you just have a away the whole story or motivation.
But sometimes I just want to discuss it, lol.

I’m EATING… I have no idea. Tonight is my little’s first football scrimmage so, I have no clue what we’ll be eating as we have to be in the neighboring town at 5… and won’t be done until 8…that kind of puts a kabosh on the whole meal planning thing…

I am finishing up the Scorpio Races, like 20 pages left. Then it is on to Days of Blood an Starlight.
Overdue at library and that pushes them up the the.
Not sure what is for dinner I need to go grocery shopping to day.

Maryse, yes to the clue in part. So much yes. It is why I sometimes read recaps after I watch a show or re read a review that made me read the book in the first place. I discover new things all the time. I love seeing people’s reactions or what they are invested in.

Daenerys is the mother of dragons. After 1.5 yeah, you don’t need to worry about who’s hated by season seven. Anyone hated you’ll hate too by then. 😀
I finished Make Me by Amanda Heath in my need to read every bully book. I swear, I’ve read a book so similar, but that was better. Now I’m going to go nuts trying to remember what book it was.

YES Maryse, you should catch up on GoT so you can gush with us! I’ve been re-watching from season one and I’m almost done with season three. I watch it while on the elliptical or treadmill (instead of running outside), on my iPad while getting ready in the morning, while re-painting some of our rooms, etc. can’t have it on while reading though. Because torn loyalties. *snort*
Oh, and re: spoilers…y’all know I hate ’em, but I like being able to find them if I want to, like with The Wild. But if I’m not seeking them out then I don’t want to know.

You know who still makes me sad?
Look away if you haven’t watched SOA. If you are going to watch it. And if you are then WATCH it already it started almost a DECADE ago.
Anyway: Opie. That was freaking brutal. It still makes me sad.
But then I remember we were discussing man buns on here and I mentioned Opie. And Amy thought I meant I think of his butt and her reaction still makes me laugh.

Alright, I went to read the spoiler because I was worried it was someone else. I kind of expected that one, honestly. I’ll reveal more why in spoilers, but yeah. Though, it’s available now? WEEEEE! Though, where can I even watch it? It’s not on demand. 🙁

Also was looking at Dating You Hating You, but I’m hating the price. I have been trying to cut down on my book purchases, since I have KU. Just want a funny book right now and nothing in KU (that I haven’t read already) is appealing to me.

Oh, and Ellen O’Connell is on KU. Eyes of Silver, Eyes Of Gold, Without Words, A Beautiful Bad man, all soooo gooooood. I dont know if you read HR but get to try for basically free. So good. You are out of your normal habitats anyway…….;)

Cheryl, Dating You Hating You was nothing special (IMO). Nowhere near as good as the Beautiful series :/ So you’re not missing much…….
I second bev’s rec of Laura Florand. I like the one bev mentioned, and there is a new one coming out soon in that series – sah-weet! My fav series of hers is Amour et Chocolat. I floved The Chocolate Touch and The Chocolate Heart. Paris, chocolates, hot chefs, a bit of angst, some sexy romance… what’s not to love? Oh Dominque, oh Luc, you gorgeous, gorgeous men………. Vive la France!

Lonely young bike messenger with a past meets lonely young graphic artist with a past. I’m a third in and it’s quite sweet so far.
