Good morning! I have been in my Netflix/Scandal bubble. Oh my heart! Just finished Season 4.

Lisa M March 20, 2018 at 6:47 AM

Happy Tuesday! With This Man!!!!! I have been counting the days for this one!!! This Man is one of my most favourite series. Jesse Ward

Grey March 20, 2018 at 7:04 AM

*birthday glitter in my house today* I want all of the foods. Hugs and thank you, Maryse for taking the time to rock this!

Maryse March 20, 2018 at 7:31 AM

GREY!!!!!! IS IT YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!! ?????

*Wheels in a huge glitter cake*

Is it too early for champagne? How about if we make mimosas with it?

Leslie M March 20, 2018 at 7:59 AM

Happy Birthday Grey! I’d like a mimosa, please. ;)

I loved This Man series. Gah! Jesse Ward & his craziness. That series had the best epilogue.

Nay March 20, 2018 at 8:17 AM

Ooh, I’ll take a mimosa! Cheers, Grey! Happy Birthday! Hope you get a reprieve from your back pain so that you can enjoy it!

Getting ready to start With This Man. Squee! Jesse Ward is one of the OG’s of the alphas! I was reading the novella from the series last night and had forgotten that Jesse is the one who drops F-bombs like nobody’s business, but if Ava does it, he goes all alpha on her. I’m going to have to go back and reread the epilogue now. Thanks for mentioning that, Leslie. That’ll help refresh my memory a bit more.

So glad you’re loving Scandal, Leslie! Sounds like you’re watching it the way I did. I also watched Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy the same way. Isn’t binge watching awesome?

Leslie M March 20, 2018 at 8:26 AM

Nay, Scandal is sooooooo good. Heartbreaking, but good. Plus, lots of hunky men which is what attracts me to show in the first place.

I hate regular tv. I can’t watch a series live. I just don’t enjoy all the waiting. Binge watching rules!!!

I can’t wait to do Gilmore Girls after I finish with Scandal.

bev March 20, 2018 at 8:38 AM

I don’t think it is Grey’s birthday, lol.

But it is the first day of spring. Happy spring everyone.
Except Jan. Happy Fall to you.
Where is Jan?
I wonder if she and Amy are off having grand adventures together.
Or maybe they went to find Fabi.

Lisa M March 20, 2018 at 9:08 AM

Mimosas!!! I love them. It’s never too early or too late for those!!! This Man series I can’t even tell you how many times I have re-read this series!!! Loving With This Man!! Never want it to end.

Tasha J March 20, 2018 at 9:14 AM

Happy birthday Grey! I’ve never had a mimosa, but perhaps I’d like to try a virgin one! I’ve STILL not read anything, I’ve been too busy nesting, resting, busy with kids. But, I feel a little itch coming on…maybe now is the time! I was going to watch another disc for Veronica Mars, but it’s cracked so I’ll have to wait a few days, maybe it’s fate.
I have been so impatiently waiting for this one to release also and today it’s out!

Tasha J March 20, 2018 at 9:22 AM

Hmmm, nope. I looked at what a mimosa consists of and it brings me back to my oj and vodka days *gag*. I shall sub in a virgin mojito. ;)

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 9:33 AM

I’m all for celebrating Grey’s birthday, but I’m pretty sure it’s in August a few days after mine and Maryse’s!

I stayed up wayyyy too late with The Idea of You. OMG it is totally book crack. It’s killing me not to be reading right now!

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 9:33 AM

LOL Tasha! A virgin mimosa is orange juice! I order my mimosas without the OJ, so we should team up!

Lisa Aiello March 20, 2018 at 9:41 AM

…climbing out from under my rock…So, I am going to have to admit, I have not experienced Jesse Ward yet – and with all the love this newest release is getting, I think that’s got to go on my short list!!!

bev March 20, 2018 at 9:43 AM

It’s crazy town Lisa. Seriously. Crazy town.

Tasha J March 20, 2018 at 9:49 AM

Lol, erm…I may not have thought that far. The idea is planted now and straight oj is still not appealing to me. Haha
What’s everyone’s spring day looking like?? We get lovely 30 (feels like 20) degree wheather and a good 1-3 inches of snow tonight. Though the past 2 days were really nice!

Leslie M March 20, 2018 at 9:59 AM

Snow, snow and snow here. Bad storm last week and another one coming tomorrow.

Leslie M March 20, 2018 at 10:02 AM

Lisa, if you read This Man series, just know it is not just crazy town, its OTT crazy town. I loved it…but it is a lot to take in. Some peeps hated it. Perhaps with the warning, you will be better prepared? Hee hee :)

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 10:03 AM

I thought Grey’s birthday was closer to mine. Thank you Robin. Heck, if Grey has no pain, she should celebrate. Pain sucks.

Tasha, mimosas taste NOTHING like a screwdriver. Mimosas are sweet and tart at once, and are best with the sugar rim to really emphasize the sweet. Screwdrivers taste nasty. lol However, you are pregnant so only OJ for you, but we will rim the glass with sugar still. :)

Last night, The Prophecy was on my tablet and boom. I dropped the book I was reading and picked it up and am yet again enthralled. All of those who have been waiting for the series to finish, this is the last book in the series, so go ahead and start reading. Remember, though. SETH IS MINE. :)

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 10:05 AM

Oh and March 1st was the beginning of Fall in Australia, because they like things that are easy to remember rather than solstices and equinoxes. (Say equinoxes out loud. It sounds wrong, doesn’t it?)

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 10:08 AM

I volunteer myself as tribute to take all the champagne off your hands. It’s the least I can do.

Robyn March 20, 2018 at 1:20 PM

I’m thinking I might do a reread of This Man. I’ve already reread that series twice. Should I reread or jump right in to the new book?! Decisions, decisions.

The Cruel Prince was just to much of a temptation for me. It was $10 but I so didn’t want to miss out! Fae, a naughty Prince, a girl who hate/loves him = catnip for me!

I also got The Prophecy. Last book in the series! I’ll have to fight you for Seth Tessa. Hehe

Damien by LA Casey is the last of the Slater Bro books. I can’t wait for Damien and Alannah to finally get together! Read these books. They are hilarious and sweet and romantic. All the brothers are Alpha and the women they love are kickass and give, them a run for their money!

Now, to decide what to read first……..

Lisa M March 20, 2018 at 1:22 PM

R. Renee I love champagne too!!!! Tasha J gin does that for me!! Can’t even stand the smell of it. Leslie M who could possibly not like This Man series!!! Shocking!! Lol!!

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 1:25 PM

I went to a champagne (or sparkling wine I guess?) tasting when I was in Napa and it may have been one of the single greatest experiences of my life. I even bought a $50 bottle to bring back (that’s A LOT for me, I’m cheap) and OMG it tasted like $50. And now I’m drooling.

Amy March 20, 2018 at 2:27 PM

*scratches head* Sooooooo, is it or is it not Grey’s birthday?

Personally, I’m waiting for Tessa to jump out of Maryse’s glitter cake covered in nothing but pasties and sparkles (and bikini bottoms ‘cause I luffs ya Tessa but I don’t need to see all that *snort*).

Anyone want to take my place at work? I went back at the end of last week and am already working my fifth day…out of the last six. :?

Amy March 20, 2018 at 2:29 PM

And I’ll take a bottle of that champagne so I can pop the cork at 5:00 this evening!

bev March 20, 2018 at 2:45 PM

I am guessing it is one of her kids b day.
I think you all just wanted cake and champagne.

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 3:32 PM

Grey’s birthday is in August. :) And no one wants me jumping out of a cake naked. lol

Robin, see! CA does have decent stuffs in wine or sparkling wine. (yeah, Champagne only comes from Champagne, France. That’s the international law.)

*narrows eyes at Robyn* *licks Seth* MINE!

Grey March 20, 2018 at 4:01 PM

Omg… You guys are too funny! Just needing a reason to celebrate! It can be my un-birthday! Yep, my birthday is in August. Today…on the first day of Spring it is my oldest’s birthday. We took her to the DMV and got her her driving permit…. Gah, what a day. My back is a bit better, but no shenanigans yet!

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 4:47 PM

LOL. Laughing at all the is it or isn’t it Grey’s birthday?!! Now I want cake and champagne.

Hmmm. I think this is a first, or maybe I’m just getting more picky, but nothing appeals to me on the list today. Of course, I’m watching the snow and icy rain and probably won’t have school tomorrow and NEED a book to read. *off to look at tbr- KU books.

MichelleS March 20, 2018 at 5:13 PM

Happy un-birthday, Grey. Still confused! Hate champagne. Yuck. Not even for NYE toast. I may need a quick recap so I can read This Man latest one. I remember NOTHING. How can that be???

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 5:13 PM

Well, we can’t have champagne for her oldest. She’s not old enough to drink! And happy birthday and congrats to your eldest, Grey!

Cheryl… Mafia and his Angel. 0:) Jean liked it too!

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 5:14 PM

*runs in, takes Michelle’s champagne, runs out*

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 5:33 PM

*runs in, takes Manny, and runs out*

Amy March 20, 2018 at 6:13 PM

*walks in*

*notices all the stolen champagne*

*pouts and walks out*

Amy March 20, 2018 at 6:41 PM

Tessa…I was catching up on the other posts, and I saw you read All the Stars in the Sky. YAY!!!!! It was a rough road to the end, right? But at least she didn’t break our hearts again.

And Maryse…DAMN!! The second book killed it, huh? I hadn’t heard about THAT part in the spoiler, but I can honestly say that is a hard limit for me along with my other one, IF they are going to stay together. Some things are just unforgivable in books and will completely turn me against the H for good. Which defeats the purpose of reading those kind of books. :?

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 6:46 PM

Tessa, thanks for the rec. I’m not sure I’m in the mood for a three book series and *whispers* honestly I’m not a big fan of the mafia story. Sorry. ;)

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 6:48 PM

Cheryl, then don’t read it. :) You have to like Mafia stories to like it.

Amy, if that one sick person had died… I’d have screamed. lol Also… *hands over slightly damp Manny* Uh… Seth made me cry. It was an awesome book, but I had tears!!!!

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 6:51 PM

I think I’m in the mood for an actor story. :> KU is a big plus!

Amy March 20, 2018 at 6:53 PM

The latest Titans book? I keep meaning to start the series but never do. Actually, I’ve been craving a PNR book lately, so I need to just jump in. Alright. It’s my next read. For sure. :D

Amy March 20, 2018 at 7:03 PM

How funny Cheryl, I was just thinking about Love Unscripted and Ghosted on the way to work this morning and how I would love another actor-normal person book.

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 7:22 PM

Um… *takes Manny back* Sorry. I thought I was good, but nope. Still crying. Yes, Amy, read it. Though, it might make you teary.

Amy March 20, 2018 at 7:24 PM

Oh, that just solidified it. JA making me teary? YESSSSS!!

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 7:48 PM

Warning, the end book will smack you in the feels. Actually, other books did too, but that end book… *cuddles Manny, sniffling*

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 7:59 PM

Amy, yes!!! A book like that! *sigh*

Carla March 20, 2018 at 8:06 PM

I just read two of the best books I’ve read all year. And both were ARCS that come out next week. I was in a major reading slump for the last 6 month and had DNFed everything.
Getaway Girl by Tessa Bailey and Kiss Me Back by Sidney Halston. Both were so good! So. Good. Kiss Me Back had a huge swoony “thing” that I won’t tell you but…my heart! Sidney is back. And Tessa never went away.
Now, I can read again. My slump is over ladies!

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 8:32 PM
Tessa March 20, 2018 at 8:33 PM

NVM, You read it. My GR just lied and said you didn’t. (I went to rec it and it said you did. Silly GR) I’ll keep looking!

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 8:35 PM

Alright, or just plain free but awesome. Come Away with Me (With Me in Seattle #1) by Kristen Proby. :)

Grey March 20, 2018 at 9:00 PM

*runs in, throws glitter, steals Manny and champagne and darts into the blankie fort* what??? My kid is 16…I’m allowed a little meltdown, aren’t I???

I think I’m gonna go big. Throne of Glass big…

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 9:17 PM

Uh… *follows Grey into the blankie fort and lays head on Manny* Feels!

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 9:41 PM

Tessa, looked up Come Away With Me. Sounded awfully familiar, but didn’t have it listed as read. Then I realized I had listened to it along with other books in that series. Ugh! Thanks for trying to find a book for me.

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 9:43 PM

Grey, just wait till your son is 18 and goes away to college. *grabs champagne*

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 9:52 PM

Grey, I mean your daughter; my son is in college now.

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 9:59 PM

I do have Eternally North in my tbr. Have put it off because thought there was going to be a book 2. It’s been years without one. Someone who has read it, does it end on a cliffhanger or HFN? Will I be mad and throw my knidle?

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 10:09 PM

Do you need an actor or will a rocker do?

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 10:10 PM

I think that may be my favorite question ever. :D

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 10:22 PM

Well Tessa, we’re still talking books right?! :)

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 10:23 PM

God I hope not!

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 10:25 PM

Good lord, what a predicament to have. ;)

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 10:25 PM

… Sure, in books. *hides her rocker behind her*

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 10:28 PM

LMAO!! Or heck, can be a athlete too.

R. Renee March 20, 2018 at 10:29 PM

I’ll take the actor then. There, that settles it!

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 10:35 PM

Hey… no fair, I’m still waiting for Tessa to find me that magical actor book.

Although, you could help me out with a “rocker” book…

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 10:38 PM

Tear by Rachel Van Dyken (Free rather than KU) (Standalone in a series)
Sweet as Sin by J.T. Geissinger
Oooh, adding in a football player. Hmm, a rocker and a football player… :D
Football players:
Fake Fiance by Ilsa Madden-Mills

I’m going to add Capture by Rachel Van Dyken. It’s an actor book and seriously steals my heart.

Tessa March 20, 2018 at 10:38 PM

Oh, Capture is free too, and it says it’s with Tear, but they are all stand alones and can be read separately.

Cheryl March 20, 2018 at 10:46 PM

Thanks Tessa. Checking out those books now.

R. Renee March 21, 2018 at 10:15 AM

Random, but I know how you guys love your creamer and I can never play along because I need sugar-free, but these are actually good! The International Delight Sugar Free French Vanilla, but IN THE SINGLES–not the refrigerated bottle. I tried that and threw it out because it tasted sugar free. Blech. These don’t, and I assume that’s because it’s easier to control the amount. I like my coffee super sweet so I use 2 with a Sweet N Low. Yes I know. I’m going to chemical he11.

Tessa March 21, 2018 at 10:35 AM

SF Coffee-mate is better with the refrigerated stuff. I think it tastes better in all the flavors over international Delight. I did just finish a bunch of singles of ID, but that was because the store was out of CM.

Maryse March 21, 2018 at 10:43 AM

But the creamers are yummy. I should go the “natural” route but I’m too hooked on these chocolate mocha ones

Tasha J March 21, 2018 at 10:44 AM

No school today, yay! (there’s some sarcasm in there) We got about 3 inches. AND I got a nasty sore throat last night that didn’t allow me to sleep and continues today, boo!!! I have been more sick with this stinkin’ pregnancy than ever before. Actually, I’ve never been sick and pregnant before. I feel like I get the mother load to make up for it. :/ I laid and thought of popsicles all night and chugged a big iced coffee (decaf) this morning, love that stuff. I believe it’s a craving. I use the Starbucks vanilla syrup to make a latte, mmmm.

R. Renee March 21, 2018 at 10:55 AM

Tessa so NOT the SF Coffee Mate singles, but the bottle? I swear I tried that too. Maybe I’m adding too much–which is what I liked about the singles. Note: I’m way too lazy to break out a measuring spoon.

Tessa March 21, 2018 at 11:06 AM

lol Yeah, if it’s too much, it’s NASTY. You get that overly saccharine taste. I use about two small spoonfuls (ish as I never use measuring spoons either). My niece uses a ton and eeew. I just do a quick pour and done. Any more cream needed I just use milk.

Maryse March 21, 2018 at 11:25 AM

Poor Tasha.

Sore throats are awful. They make my eyes cry the whole time.

Maryse March 21, 2018 at 11:28 AM

Carla I LOVE BOTH of those authors BIG TIME!!!!!!!!! I have an arc of Getaway Girl but I’m reading an arc by Shay Savage that has me hooked. Next will be Tessa!!! :D YAY ME!!

Thank you for letting us know!!

Maryse March 21, 2018 at 11:30 AM

Amy, well I picked it back up. Somewhat out of fury (I hope she… grrrrr! LOL!) anyway… I’ve been told to keep on. SO I’m back in.

Maryse March 21, 2018 at 11:32 AM

I was excited for Grey’s birthday, but I think I misunderstood. LOL!!! She was excited about the list, maybe? As in “oh wow happy birthday TO ME!!” because of all the goodies?

*whoops* :P

Well, at least we had cake. ;)

Maryse March 21, 2018 at 11:32 AM

Er… and maybe I had already started on the mimosas. LOL!!!

MichelleS March 21, 2018 at 11:46 AM

First world problems again, I see. Actor, rocker, biker, bad boy, billionaire, or “other”???? I’ll take other for a thousand please! Heehee. I’m with Amy… feeling PNR moodish.

MichelleS March 21, 2018 at 11:47 AM

I forgot brother, cousin, priest, author, recluse, caveman, alien.

MichelleS March 21, 2018 at 11:48 AM

Don’t laugh. I can name a book I loved for each of these scenarios.

Nay March 21, 2018 at 1:20 PM

For some reason, I don’t enjoy the refrigerated Coffeemate SF creamers AT ALL, and I hate when I have to buy them. I think I’ve mentioned before that my favorite SF French Vanilla is the Dollar General brand. None of them ever taste saccharine-y to me, which is a surprise because everything else SF tastes ICK to me.

International Delight is my 2nd favorite, but I got one a couple of weeks ago that was awful. It wasn’t out of date, and it didn’t taste rotten or anything–it gave my coffee a raspberry-ish taste, so I threw it out. Then when I bought another one, it was fine.

I went to Walmart yesterday and looked over all of them closely so that I could report back with anything interesting, and I was really disappointed that the only SF they had of ANY brand was International Delight Hazelnut (which I like, thank goodness). But why don’t more brands make SF?? There are SO many people in our country who have to limit sugar that you’d think they’d make it in a lot of brands/flavors.

Nay March 21, 2018 at 1:29 PM

Cheryl–re: rocker books, have you not read Tristan and Danika??? Or do you just not have it marked on GR? The first book of the series, Bad Things, is free on Amazon right now, and if you ever decide to read the series, I have the 3rd one that I can loan out. That is the ULTIMATE rock star series!!

R. Renee March 21, 2018 at 4:19 PM

I have the second I can lend out!

Grey March 21, 2018 at 4:19 PM

*giggle* Oh my… *deep breath* bwahahaha!!! This could be the best thread evah!

“Do you need an actor or will a rocker do?”

uh…both?! it is my un-birthday after all.

“I think I’m gonna go big. ”

That’s what she said… Err… I said… Whoa talking about myself in the third person is trippy.

“I volunteer myself as tribute to take all the champagne off your hands.”

And again… I say, whoa!

There was a whole lotta was it or wasn’t it? (my birthday…not a baby, nope on both fronts so you all can celebrate with cake and booze everyday!) Even more champagne snatching… (Gotta be quick and maintain a firm grip…on your bottle at all times ’round here)

“We got about 3 inches…”

Oh hell no. Just no. On second thought, pass the bottle…and the cake…and the actor, rocker, biker, bad boy, billionaire, brother, cousin, priest, author, recluse, caveman, alien. ;-)

R. Renee March 21, 2018 at 4:20 PM

Seriously Nay, try the ID SF vanilla in the individual non-refrigerated containers. I think you’ll like it. I looked when I was at the store today and I did try both the ID and CM SF refrigerated creamers and didn’t like either of those at all.

Morgan March 21, 2018 at 6:00 PM

Has any one read Laura Thalassa ‘s new book that came out on 3/20
Pestilence (The Four Horsemen Book 1)
I didn’t see it listed and it was really good, I couldn’t put it down.
If you like Paranormal or Post-Apocalyptic books, I recommend this one.

bev March 21, 2018 at 6:57 PM

Ok, I do not do make up. But I love reading about skin and hair care. Probably cause I struggle with mine.
Anyway I found this you tube a few weeks ago. I do not gave skin like her….i seriously wish, but I love watching her videos. I can watch one after the other, lol.
Her makeup seems nice too. ;)

Tessa March 21, 2018 at 7:47 PM

Thank you Morgan! I forgot to put that in my pre-order list. (It’s KU! WOOOOOT!) I’ve yet to be disappointed with her books.

Bev, yeah. Except in the winter, I don’t suffer dry skin at all. In the winter, I only need once a week lotion on my legs and shoulders. Usually the opposite for me. Extremely oily.

Cheryl March 21, 2018 at 8:13 PM

Nay, I have read Tristan and Danika and loved it. Guess I need to update my GR.

Tessa, I read Sweet as Sin today and am starting book 2 now. Thanks. It wasn’t your typical rocker book- really had very little to do with his band or music, although I really enjoyed it and had me laughing out loud a few times.

Incidentally we got more than 3 inches, I think at least 6 inches and it’s till coming. *tee-hee!

Cheryl March 21, 2018 at 8:16 PM

Tessa March 21, 2018 at 8:30 PM

“at least 6 inches and it’s till coming. ” LOL

Glad it was enjoyable. :)

bev March 21, 2018 at 8:30 PM

As I get older my oily skin is turning more combination. So oily t zone always but a bit dry elsewhere. Not like falling how some have , but definite tightness if cleanser is too strong.

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 8:36 AM

They came with the Storm.
Pestilence by Laura Thalassa

Grey March 22, 2018 at 8:50 AM

Everything is lined up. ~ Sparks Fly by Lauren Runow.

Nay March 22, 2018 at 8:55 AM

Robin–if my store has them, I’ll give the non-refrigerated a try. Luckily, I usually like the ID refrigerated pretty well. I just had that one that tasted weird for some reason. I really wondered if they got white chocolate raspberry confused with french vanilla. So I guess it’s not that it tasted bad–I just don’t want fruit in my coffee. E-V-E-R

R. Renee March 22, 2018 at 9:51 AM

FLT: “I was there when the levees broke.” Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan.

I think anyway. I’m not usually into sports romance, but the super angsty status updates on GR are too intriguing to ignore.

Leslie M March 22, 2018 at 10:12 AM

*crickets chirping*

Because I am in a reading funk and seem to have no desire to read!!!

Help!! Kooloo, do you have an rx to get my reading mojo back??

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 10:31 AM

Leslie, try re-reading Twilight.

Amy March 22, 2018 at 11:30 AM

“The mansion was as silent as I wished the inside of my head could be.” ~ The Return by Jennifer Armentrout

*winks at Tessa*

Amy March 22, 2018 at 11:30 AM

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 12:27 PM

*squees and does a little dance*

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 12:28 PM

Oh, the best part, I don’t have to worry about Amy stealing Seth. She’s a firm Aiden fan. :D

Amy March 22, 2018 at 1:21 PM

Nope, I won’t be stealing Seth because my heart will ALWAYS belong to Aiden.

However, my heart is totally softening to Seth…especially when I see how tormented he is over what happened in the Covenant series and with Alex. And all he had to say was “him” (we both know who he meant) and the butterflies woke up in my tummy. ;)

Leslie M March 22, 2018 at 2:01 PM

Good idea Tessa, a little Twilight always perks me up! ;)

Maryse March 22, 2018 at 2:07 PM

hey. :)

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 2:55 PM

Amy, right? I didn’t adore Seth right off, but when I did, it was those things that made me fall for him. :) He’s perfectly imperfect.

*waves to Bev*

Leslie! :) I hope it works. I recently read a series that I adore just to get me past the book funk. Heck, I won’t mention how many times I’ve re-read FCH due to funks. It usually perks me right up.

bev March 22, 2018 at 2:59 PM

Leslie watch a kdrama.

bev March 22, 2018 at 3:03 PM

I should of started with Ho and led us on a sing along.

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 3:22 PM

As soon as I saw Ho, that song came to mind. :)

Jan March 22, 2018 at 5:24 PM

Hello everyone. *waves* I’ve been away on holiday and haven’t done a lot of reading. (Criminal, I know). Just a few rereads of old favs. But I’m back now and will get back into my usual reading routine. I think my next new read will be Burn Bright, the new Patricia Briggs. To get my Charles fix :D

MichelleS March 22, 2018 at 5:53 PM

I’m team Seth too!

My FLT is same as Tessa’s. Same author as Rhapsodic, so I’m hoping for some sexy PNR.

I just binge watched Netflix Series called Ozark. OMG. What a crazy train wreck. Loved it!

MichelleS March 22, 2018 at 5:55 PM

Jan – my library has LOST Burn Bright!can you believe that? I we t to pick up my hold & it’s missing. ARGH. I need my Charles fix too.

bev March 22, 2018 at 6:15 PM

We are such good girls Tessa.

bev March 22, 2018 at 6:19 PM

Our minds do not go to the gutter but to music.

I have an FLT (from a book(whoo!) )I will have to post it.

Nay March 22, 2018 at 6:53 PM

Michelle–Isn’t it great? Ozark is one of the shows I suggested to Leslie. Have you seen Bloodline? That’s another awesome suspenseful family drama. With Kyle Chandler!!

bev March 22, 2018 at 7:40 PM

Do you remember when they blew Kyle Chandler up in Grey’s Anatomy?

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 7:57 PM

I did not like Grey’s Anatomy. *hides* And of course I am. lol Music first (even before books!)

Michelle, the book so far is pretty good. I like The Bargainer series more, but it’s good. (No fairies, though!) You prefer Seth too? Uh… *licks Seth*

Amy March 22, 2018 at 8:02 PM

*wipes Tessa’s saliva off of Seth*

I’m trying to read here…

bev March 22, 2018 at 8:16 PM

Puts on gloves.

Makes a spit ball out of Tessa’s saliva and throws it at Amy.

Nay March 22, 2018 at 8:23 PM

bev–that was a SHOCKER! I fell in love with Kyle Chandler years ago on a show called Homefront–what an awesome series! In Bloodline, he’s the chief of police, and I still love him!

I had to quit watching Grey’s when it got to be too cardiac for me. And it seemed like the stories were getting too, too gloom and doom.

I still need to read books 2 and 2.5 in The Bargainer series and then I guess the 3rd will be coming out this summer.

Amy March 22, 2018 at 8:26 PM

The hell bev?!? Ewwwwwwwwww!!!

*grabs a towel and wipes off the saliva*

Grey March 22, 2018 at 8:47 PM

I decided to go do a reread… I think Tessa will approve of my choice as well. Donovan Kincaid…

bev March 22, 2018 at 8:49 PM

Omg. Homefront!
Baseball player in love with older brothers ex. Older brother had a war bride? Something like that.

bev March 22, 2018 at 8:50 PM

I don’t know Amy.

Tessa March 22, 2018 at 8:57 PM

Ooooh, Grey! Yes, and then read the next book after. Your funk shall be gone!

bev March 22, 2018 at 9:47 PM

I feel like I have you guys the slump.

Much worse than the flu.

I’m telling you though the cure all is kdramas and ramen.

MichelleS March 22, 2018 at 10:16 PM

Just watched episode one of Bloodline. OMG! We’re not bad people… my ass! Thanks for the rec. something new to binge watch!

Jan March 22, 2018 at 10:45 PM

*laughs at the spitball wars* You guys. Sheesh.

Michelle that is so annoying that your library has lost the brand new book. Damn.

bev March 22, 2018 at 10:48 PM

I see.

No I understand.

Nay’s recs sound better than mine.

I get it MichelleS.

I do.

I’m understanding and chill that way.

Tessa I need more spit.
