in Latest Book Releases

It’s new release day again, and this is one of the longest lists in a LONG time!! Over 100 new releases today, plus new audiobooks plus reader recommendations that sound awesome! And!! the *blurb-jolters* (like that one to the left. OMG I wanna!!!)

What others do I wanna read? Pure Abandon is much loved right now (a la “Arsen” feel and has been HIGH on my TBR list since its release), Hawthorne & Heathcliff (yet another HIGH on my TBR list that is back to getting SO much love – THIS STORY I KNOW i’m going to go crazy for…), A Taste of Heaven (sounds like so much “contemporary romance fun”, she wins on a show like “chopped” and ends up dealing with a chef like “Chef Ramsey” Tee hee!! Can you imagine?? Ahhhh the torment potential!!), fugly (that one to the left that is calling my name the MOST right now… her boss thinks that, of her… I think. And he’s and ass!! YAY ME!!!), and Softer Than Steel (I absolutely loved #1, and am thrilled she has continued this as a rock star series…).

And of course, there are many more below that caught my attention, that I highlighted, let alone, the new series releases that I want to start from the beginning on… *sigh* I love my book life!!! :D

Oh!! And… don’t forget to check out yesterday’s earlybird book releases, too!

P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere).

P.P.S. Don’t have a Kindle? No problem! Amazon offers various free Kindle apps and a free Kindle Cloud reader for any and ALL of us to use. You can either use the free Kindle App for your smartphone, tablet, AND your desktop computer (just like you’re using a Kindle, but right through your web browser <— No need to download anything! :D )

For those going on a road trip soon, or maybe you’ve got some projects that require both hands this weekend but still allows you to “listen”… check out the free audible trial + 2 free ebooks deal —>

  • AND! Here’s the fun-tool again! —> Find out which of YOUR Kindle books are available as audiobooks at a BARGAIN-PRICE! <— This thing is so cool (Amazon calls it “Matchmaker“)! It’s an Amazon feature, that scans your Kindle books and will list all of the ones you have that are also available as an audiobook at a discounted price (not normal audiobook prices). This way, you can switch back and forth, seamlessly between your ebooks and your audiobooks. VERY COOL!

Well Hot Damn! What a list! Maryse I. WILL. NEVER. CONQUER. MY. TBR. LIST. Thank you, I think????

Tessa September 15, 2015 at 11:20 AM

From the other post:
About the Affiliate, so far, so good. I’m about 40% in and loving the court intrigue. It does read as the beginning book, but in a good way if that makes sense. CH? Probably? I won’t be sure until I’m done. :D

For those curious about the ages, there isn’t much of an age gap. The Prince is the King’s brother, 18. The King is 20. The MC is 17.

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 1:02 PM

Oh thank you Tessa!! Great update… :D

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 1:02 PM

Ela… and this one is 100+ new books… OMG!

Marit September 15, 2015 at 1:08 PM

So many good ones! Maryse, you rock :D Oooooh, a stalker book. I LOVE those. Dangerous Obsession: Taylor Family Saga by M.M. Roethig. It sounds so good! ;)

Robyn September 15, 2015 at 1:32 PM

OMG!! So many good books out today! I’m overwhelmed, but I shall conquer! Hehe. After I finish my current book, Trancending Darkness by Aricka Phoenix, I will be reading the next Dartmoor book The Skeleton Key! I have been waiting for this little jewel to come out. Then I’m reading The Affiliate! I also really want to start Tijans newest book Crossover: Franchise Mtg. It’s where all the characters in all her books get together and meet each other. What a unique idea! I’ve read all her books, so this should be good!

Cat @ Reader/Eater September 15, 2015 at 1:48 PM

I love Mimi Jean Pamiloff, but no PNR–straight romcom has me a bit nail-bitey.

Especially after reading the blurb.

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 2:25 PM

Cat… nail bitey in a good way? Excited-like? I don’t think I’ve ever read her yet, and I’m excited about it.

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 2:26 PM

YES!!! Marit I love the stalker books, too… what a nightmare!!!

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 2:27 PM

Robyn, I need to read all of Tijan’s books, but I agree… that Crossover idea is unique and so fun-sounding! :D

Jenn September 15, 2015 at 2:55 PM

Tainted black… good. Makes your heart hurt!
Diary of bink cummings…one of my fav MC books of all time!!

Lauren September 15, 2015 at 3:05 PM

Robyn, I read Transcending Darkness last weekend & loved it!!

Grey September 15, 2015 at 4:35 PM

*blink, blink* This list… good Lord, I’ll never find the bottom of my TBR pile…

Thanks Maryse!

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 4:35 PM

My pleasure Grey!!! :D

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 4:37 PM

Okay… I sampled Fugly… and I liked the sample, so i’m going in further…

MichelleS September 15, 2015 at 4:56 PM

Well I finished Hollywood Dirt finally! For me, only about 4 stars – loved it…. BUT…. all wrapped up too quickly and not enough “stuff” happened. I kept thinking, oh oh, here it comes …. a nude stand in! oh yes, finally! and then nothing happened. Cocky the rooster was the best side character. Huge potential, but only 4 stars for me. Still a great read! But not a re-read.

Now…. must scratch my fantasy itch I think…. Throne of Glass it is…

fabi September 15, 2015 at 5:12 PM

Awww MichelleS, you’re starting Throne of Glass? I’m jealous. That one is in the top five of my tbr. I ‘still’ haven’t started a new book. Finishing up a couple of betas and really haven’t had any real reading time. Did you read Cocky Bastard? It’s another one, along with Hollywood Dirt, that is trying to climb out of my tbr.

Maryse, you’ll have to keep me updated on fugly. It may end up on top of my tbr pile.

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 5:20 PM

I’m reading it as we speak. :) So far… good… not crazy-good, but intriguing because he TOTALLY is a d!ck. Told her she was the most unattractive person he’s ever seen, but she’s SO qualified for his cosmetics company that he wants her as his personal assistant… IF she gets plastic surgery…

fabi September 15, 2015 at 5:22 PM

Oh grrrr I already want to hit him and I haven’t even met him yet. hahaha

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 5:25 PM

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 5:25 PM

Believe me… she’s a spitfire and she wants to hit him there, too!

MichelleS September 15, 2015 at 5:25 PM

Well, then why they put HER on the cover if she is the most unattractive person he’s ever seen? because the girl on the cover? that girl would be owning that body and hair and I assume has the face to match!!! Hate when they put people like that on covers!

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 5:41 PM

But that’s the thing… she specifically says… she’s got the “cute little body” and the gorgeous blonde hair….

BUT NOT the face.

This is a good one… I think. ;)

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 5:42 PM

We’ll see… still in the first quarter. But I’m into it.

fia September 15, 2015 at 6:29 PM

Maryse, I just finished Mimi jean pamfilloff’s Fugly, one of the best ride of my life, can’t put it down, definitely five stars for me, after her King series, Mimi jean is an automatic buy. Yayy me !!

Michelle September 15, 2015 at 7:11 PM

Tessa, thanks for the update on The Affiliate. I got it but want to finish Afterlife which is going to take me foreverrrrr – only at 35% in 2 nights of reading! Picked up Finding Elizabeth and Dirty Promises too – fantastic list Maryse :)

Tessa September 15, 2015 at 7:25 PM

You’re welcome and done. Honest thoughts, it’s a first of a series book, so it was establishing the story. The ending wasn’t so much a CH as it was an end of an arc. It ended where it made sense, hinting at what comes next. I LOVED the characters. Even the ones I know we weren’t supposed to, I kind of sympathized with. A bit of intrigue, and I want to know what happens next.

Now, back to Afterlife.

Amy September 15, 2015 at 7:28 PM

Holy moly…THIS LIST!!! 8-O

*scroll* That one looks good…oh wait, it’s first in a series. *scroll* This one is intriguing…aw man, first in a series too. *scroll* Well, what about…another first in a series, dangit!!!

Don’t mind me, I’m just being a whiny-butt today. :P

Robyn September 15, 2015 at 7:34 PM

Lauren- I’m about halfway done with Trancending Darkness and am loving it. Killian is an Irish badboy!

Jenn- I agree that Bink Cummings MC series is one of the best out there! She’s writing book 4 right now!

Amy September 15, 2015 at 7:37 PM

I don’t care HOW unattractive she thinks she is in Fugly…with a body and head of hair like that on the cover, who cares! Makeup can work wonders on ANYONE. ;)

The Last September caught my attention…click! Now to settle in for the next hour and pick that list up there apart. Thanks for all of your hard work in putting this together, Maryse! :D

Anne September 15, 2015 at 7:59 PM

I am reading The Affiliate and really liking it so far!

Ugh Maryse he said that?!? What a JERK! I want to meet him lol

Maryse September 15, 2015 at 8:12 PM

Okay I’m struggling…

It’s good. It is. But she’s doing something that I think it’s too soon for… especially considering the woman-power message I feel this book is about.

Amy September 15, 2015 at 8:40 PM

Well dang… :?

Cheryl September 15, 2015 at 9:07 PM

WHAT. A. LIST!!! Started reading the sample of Fugly- I like that she’s not the typical beautiful h, although it is disappointing to read your updates Maryse. :(

Amy, I agree…I kept reading the list and thinking that sounds good, but nope it’s # 1 in a series. Seems like most books nowadays are part of a series.

Can’t go wrong with the latest Christina Lauren book-always well-written, funny light-hearted read. I did start reading Wake Up Call. It’s good, but I keep squirreling.

Allison September 15, 2015 at 10:05 PM

I read Tainted Black. I love love love older men and younger women. This was so angsty, so everything I love in a book.

The ending . . . ugh. I was BAWLING. I actually learned a bit about myself as a reader. LOL

I don’t want to give anything away. I literally want to start a private group on FB just to discuss all my feels about this book with other people who have read it. I need therapy.

Cannot wait to read Drowning to Breathe. Loved a Stone in the Sea. I hope the 2nd one is as good!

Marit September 16, 2015 at 12:37 AM

Fugly sounds good! It’s tempting me.

Tessa!!! I love that you are reading Afterlife! :D I hope you love it as much as I do. Update me.

Lisa September 16, 2015 at 1:45 AM

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s Kings is free on Amazon today…the first if a trilogy.

Marit September 16, 2015 at 3:00 AM

Woho, Lisa! :D King’s is sooo good! Awesome.

Lisa September 16, 2015 at 4:55 AM

Yes!! One clicked Marit…can’t argue with free books and it has had great reviews. I know you loved it. I grabbed Fugly too.

Ela September 16, 2015 at 7:11 AM

Amy! Are you clicking without looking at the book prices again? Last September is 12.99, which is why I’m holding back until I get more feedback.

Cheryl September 16, 2015 at 7:29 AM

Maryse- what’s the latest on Fugly??

MichelleS September 16, 2015 at 7:43 AM

I didn’t get very far into Throne of Glass…. but…. OMG, I’m in heaven. Some major catnip words for me: Fae, magic, assassin, King, Prince, and a castle made of glass??? YES!! **** rubbing hands together in glee *****

Ela September 16, 2015 at 8:14 AM

Loving Pleasure Unbound! Thanks again for the rec!

Young September 16, 2015 at 8:56 AM

I just finished the sample of Fugly. OMG..MINE!!!! It sounds so fun! I love that the h is so unique and refreshing, and of course H is a giant mean A-hole The author is one of my favorites.

Marit September 16, 2015 at 9:15 AM

Let me know what you think of both Fugly and King’s, Lisa! :D Enjoy the show.

Pleasure unbound is so good, Ela. I loved it too ;)

Ela September 16, 2015 at 9:21 AM

I read King’s book 1 but not the sequels. I enjoyed it enough so why didn’t I continue?????

Tessa September 16, 2015 at 9:25 AM

MichelleS, just… *grins* I knew you’d adore it. Everything you just said is major catnip for me too. Also include court intrigue, danger, and few deaths. :D

Merit, I’m really liking it so far, but only 35ish percent through. It’s a LONG book. That’s not a bad thing, but it does take me a lot longer to read it.

Lisa, King was really good. It got a lot of us reading it like crazy when it came out.

Jean September 16, 2015 at 9:25 AM

I’m reading and loving Pure Abandon! Definite Arsen feel… far….

There are so many books on this list, I am completely overwhelmed! Softer Than Steel jumped out at me first because I loved Louder Than Love! And Tainted Black…..yep 1-clicking again and again and again…..sigh…..

Marit September 16, 2015 at 9:53 AM

Then you have a mission to complete, Ela ;) Peanuts are coming you way!

Nice Tessa. It’s a little bit slow in the beginning, but trust me, it will keep you awake soon enough ;)

Ela September 16, 2015 at 10:14 AM

Give it to me! I need a snack :)

Jean September 16, 2015 at 10:53 AM

I’m really tired of all the series…..been trying to stick with standalones until complete series is out, and today I find out there’s a second book to Pure Abandon which I’m reading now!?!? What??!!??….. there better not be a CH! Does anyone know?

Amy September 16, 2015 at 11:16 AM

“I’m really tired of all the series” <—— EXACTLY, Jean. I used to love series, but I've been disappointed so often lately with the sequels (or I see others disappointed in the sequels) that now I only want to read standalones. The exception to that is PNR/UF series…like the Holy Trinity series which *ahem* YOU STILL NEED TO READ! :P

Amy September 16, 2015 at 11:23 AM

LOL Ela! Actually, right after I posted that I went to read the rest of the blurb and then one-click LS, but the names of the couple (Brett and Charlie) threw me off because I assumed B was the husband and C the wife, but then the blurb said C was the “golden boy” so I thought maybe this was a M/M story, but earlier in the blurb it referenced one of them being a “her” so by then my head was spinning and I was feeling quite simple ’cause I couldn’t figure it out.

So, after all that and lightly skimming a review to figure out who the heck was who in the story, I ended up getting a sample because I wasn’t ready to spend that much on a book just yet when my simpleton mind couldn’t even figure out the blurb. *snort* And there’s the rambling answer to your question. ;)

Jean September 16, 2015 at 11:50 AM

Wow, that certainly was some rambling to explain your crazy mind Amy! 12.99 is just too much!

Yeah, yeah, yeah Amy, I know I need to read the Holy Trinity Series. Is it complete? Maybe after Pure Abandon??? Did you read it yet……I REALLY think you would love it…..Arsen feel!!!!

Ela September 16, 2015 at 12:05 PM

Jean no CH in Pure Abandon, I have no clue what this sequel is about. Quite honestly I don’t remember it that well, yep shocker…Arsen is still unbeatable!

Amy, wow! I totally get your confusion since I noticed the same thing on that synopsis and I was like what the hell???? First C is a she then a he on multiple “mentions” so I thought of Caitlyn!!!!!!!!! Except female to male…LMAO….then I thought if the synopsis is that messed up (editing) then what is the 12.99 gonna give me?????

Ela September 16, 2015 at 12:13 PM

OK! I’m totally confused….read some reviews for Last September and Brett is the woman???? Who names their daughter Brett???? No offense to anyone on here with a daughter named Brett! And this Brett starts the book off by saying her husband was murdered??? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?????????????? Actually I’m quite intrigued….maybe the library will have it???

Jean September 16, 2015 at 12:21 PM

Thanks Ela….I’m buddy reading it with a friend so that always makes it more fun!

fabi September 16, 2015 at 12:47 PM

Jean and Amy I’m jumping on your series bandwagon. I feel exactly the same. It’s hard to find the authors who do series correctly anymore.

Jean, The Lost is the first of a series too, but its done right. It has a beginning, middle and end. The next one will have new characters as well as expand a bit on the ones in The Lost.

I’m to the point where I want to take a vacation just to READ. I may start going through withdrawals soon. :-/

Ela September 16, 2015 at 1:05 PM

OH Puhleaze! *puts hands on hips* *shakes head* series are soooooooooo last year!!!!!!!!!! Standalones are the new in thing or series with new main couple not a continuation that will never end or releases in between books are years *cough* Crossfire *cough* *covers mouth* I didn’t say anything.

fabi September 16, 2015 at 1:20 PM

Lol Ela, it never fails, given time, the old enivitably becomes new again.

Jean September 16, 2015 at 1:38 PM

Haha Ela!

So Fabi, you liked The Lost?

fabi September 16, 2015 at 2:05 PM

Yeah, you didn’t see my posts? Grey really liked it too.

Jean September 16, 2015 at 2:21 PM

Sorry Fabi, I somehow missed them. Getting back into the groove of working after being off for 10 days! I’m gonna have to check it out!

Amy September 16, 2015 at 3:02 PM

“Crazy mind”?? Really, Jean?!? Oh wait…that’s pretty accurate. :P The last HT book is supposed to be out by the beginning of next year, if not sooner, and I KNOW you’re gonna love it! And Pure Abandon is definitely an upcoming read for me…I’ve actually lined up a bunch of tried-and-true reads and recs from here after finishing my current read.

OMG Ela, you are cracking me up today…

*fist bumps Fabi* ;)

Ela September 16, 2015 at 3:31 PM

My hip hurts so I’m being totally myself :)

Grey September 16, 2015 at 6:29 PM

Yes… I loved The Lost.

Reading Cocky Bastard… Fugly definitely peaks my interest, as does the new Christina Lauren book. I love their work!

Hi everyone, sorry I’ve been so scarce, back to work is a nightmare! Miss everyone!

Michelle September 16, 2015 at 6:35 PM

*happy claps* glad you are liking it Ela. I honestly think they get better and better but I remember being hooked with Pleasure Unbound right off.

MichelleS, if you like Throne of Glass, you will like A Court of Thorns and Roses too although I liked ToG more. Her other series only has the first book out so maybe it will pick up – was still really good.

Marit and Tessa, I didn’t get much read last night but Afterlife seems to be getting better, not that it was bad just slow and a little hard to get into at first. I think persistence will pay off in this case :)

Tessa September 16, 2015 at 7:54 PM

I hope you feel better Ela!

Michelle, same here. It does need editing in the beginning, but once it picked up, it picked up big time.

Julie O September 16, 2015 at 8:23 PM

Really loved the Hacker Series. Looking forward to book 5. I actually thought it was better than FSOG

Cheryl September 16, 2015 at 9:19 PM

Jean, Pure Abandon is a standalone- no cliffhanger. Book 2 is also a standalone that involves a character from book 1.

Amy & Jean-I am so on your no-series bandwagon!! ;)

fabi September 16, 2015 at 9:25 PM

*shoulder nudge* Cheryl. We need to start our own support group for the “no CH, no series” gang. ;-)

Niki September 16, 2015 at 9:54 PM

So many great looking books!!! Not sure what I am reading next…maybe the second in the holy trinity series.

Did you guys see that Throne of Glass is being optioned for a TV series!!! Now I really need to read those!!!

Cheryl September 16, 2015 at 10:19 PM

Fabi, sounds like a t-shirt slogan!! Support group sounds good; do we get to make up a special handshake or better yet a special drink??! ;)

fabi September 16, 2015 at 10:57 PM

Yup, the special handshake will get you the special drink…which we will call….the cliff bomb?

Cheryl September 17, 2015 at 5:34 AM

Fabi, clever, very clever!!!! LMAO *mixing up a batch of the cliff bomb*

Tessa September 17, 2015 at 9:16 AM

Finished Afterlife. It was slow to start and it needs an editor, but the story was compelling and once it got going, it didn’t stop. I enjoyed it enough to get number two. Oh, it says the print version is 436 pages. With what? The tiniest writing ever? Pfft. Number two says 609 pages, which sounds like it will be huge if that first is only 436 pages.

LaurenB September 17, 2015 at 10:19 AM

Throne of glass series is sooo good. Right up my street and I’m completely hooked. About quarter through the 4th book, trying to take my time as don’t want it to end.

fabi September 17, 2015 at 10:30 AM

Is it a complete series? Is book 4 the last book?

Amy September 17, 2015 at 10:56 AM

First line Thursday!!

“My name is Adrian Birch, and I’m nobody.” ~ The Badger by C.M. McKenna

Holy moly, I’m loving this book so far. :D

Maryse September 17, 2015 at 11:46 AM

Almost done “Fugly”… I like it enough to read and finish it. It’s actually pretty good, I just get irritated by some circumstances… so it’s not unputdownable for me.

Ela September 17, 2015 at 11:56 AM

Thanks Tessa! I’ve had issues with both hips since I was a baby. My right hip was already “resurfaced” and now I think my left hip is going…so I need x-rays etc.

First line Thursday:

“He’s gone. Let’s call it.” Desire Unchained by Larissa Ione

Ela September 17, 2015 at 12:00 PM

Just bought it Amy! It looks really good!

LaurenB September 17, 2015 at 1:33 PM

No it’s not the last book…book 5 is not out until next year which is why I’m taking my time with this one :(

Tessa September 17, 2015 at 1:52 PM

They hung the Unregistereds in the old warehouse district; it was a public execution, so everyone went to see.
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

Yep, liked her writing so much, I’m starting an incomplete series. :P

LaurenB, tisn’t it awesome? I got my niece to read it, and she normally doesn’t read much or fast, and her first day, she’s read four chapters.

Jean September 17, 2015 at 2:08 PM

Ooooo Amy, I like that first line! 1-click (thanks to you!)

Just finishing up Pure Abandon and first line is so boring (nothing like the book itself which I love): “It’s your turn.” I feel like Tessa today with that first line! Lol!

Tessa September 17, 2015 at 3:05 PM

Rofl I actually chose the book I’m reading for the first line. Literally, I was going to read something else, read the first line, and thought, nope. Today is Thursday!

Jean September 17, 2015 at 3:10 PM

Haha Tessa, that’s great!

MichelleS September 17, 2015 at 3:21 PM

“After a year of slavery, in the Salt Mines of Endovier, Celaena Sardothian was accustomed to being escorted everywhere in shackles and at sword-point.” – Throne of Glass, Sarah J. Maas (First Line Thursday)

LOVE this book so far. Happy dance – Fae fix – in my own little world here….

Grey September 17, 2015 at 3:51 PM

Holy crap… I haven’t finished a book in a week. My life needs to slow down, I need time to be queen of sheba and read a book a night like I did during the heydays of summer. *insert pouty face here*

fabi September 17, 2015 at 4:20 PM

Grey, you’re still ahead of me because I haven’t started a book in a week. *borrows Grey’s pouty face*
No first line Thursday for me.
*feels a reading binge coming on*

Maryse September 17, 2015 at 5:48 PM

My first line Thursday:

“They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

Pamfiloff, Mimi Jean (2015-09-15). fugly (Kindle Locations 90-91). Mimi Boutique – P&S, Inc.. Kindle Edition.

LaurenB September 17, 2015 at 6:01 PM

So good Tessa :)

First line Thursday -
‘There was a thing waiting in the darkness’
Queen of Shadows – Sarah J Maas

Cheryl September 17, 2015 at 8:35 PM

Maryse, thanks for the update on Fugly. The whole premise of the book is what drew me in- the “ugly” h, and the blurb was good. Still undecided if I’m going to read it though.

“The moment I wake up, I know I’m in trouble.” Wake-Up Call by Amy Avanzino. Cute, funny story about “real-life” being a Mom and the realization that it may be the best job you can have.

Michelle September 17, 2015 at 8:52 PM

“Why are we afraid of the darkness when the light shows us more of the land of nightmares?” Afterlife by Stephanie Hudson

Yep I’m still reading it…Tessa you beat me! It definitely picked up in the second half and I will also be continuing with the series. Thanks for bringing it to our attention Marit :D I seriously LOVE the Saturday lists!

fabi September 17, 2015 at 9:02 PM

Bev, what was that movie you wanted me to watch? Was it Warrior? I’m checking Netflix but can’t tell which one it is.

bev September 17, 2015 at 9:12 PM

Let us know what you think. Fingers crossed.

fabi September 17, 2015 at 9:19 PM

Oh, it does look good. It’s not available for streaming though. Maybe I can pick it up at the store next time I’m browsing DVDs for my daughter.

Guess its Mad Max for tonight. I don’t know if this new one is a remake or continuation.

I got home early from work for a change. I want to read but need to spend a little mother/daughter time, so a movie it is.

Thanks Bev. I’ll definitely pick it up.

Tessa September 17, 2015 at 9:44 PM

Bev, did you notice Maryse posted your Thursday game on Facebook?

bev September 17, 2015 at 10:31 PM

Lol. Not sure it is “mine” as I stole the first line game from somewhere else and we all turned it into a Thursday thing. But hope they have fun with it.

Cheryl September 17, 2015 at 10:51 PM
Cheryl September 17, 2015 at 10:56 PM

Fabi, that Youtube link isn’t working, but here’s one on Amazon-*Version*=1&*entries*=0

fabi September 17, 2015 at 11:07 PM

That’s awesome Cheryl. I have it lined up for next movie night. Thanks so much.

Jean September 18, 2015 at 8:23 AM

You guys, you guys, you guys, I finished Pure Abandon and I LOVED it!! My heart is happy and heartbroken at the same time! Ugh my heart! I am in a total book fog, my head is spinning……have no idea what to start next……sigh…..

Jean September 18, 2015 at 9:42 AM

Bait by M. Mabie is free today!

Amy September 18, 2015 at 12:13 PM

Hmmmm, I’m going to wait on your review of fugly, Maryse, before I decide if I’ll one-click it…I’m curious what the “irritants” are ’cause if they are bugging you then chances are they are going to irritate me too, and I really don’t like getting irritated at books. *snort* Obviously. ;)

Jean, that first line is actually pretty good…”It’s your turn” could mean ANYTHING. *wink wink* :P

Seriously guys, I’m loving Badger…if you clicked it then READ IT!!!!

Jean September 18, 2015 at 12:29 PM

She already posted her review Amy…3.75*.

I DID 1-click Badger…..i am in such a book fog from Pure Abandon. I started 3 different books at lunch and just couldn’t find the right one! Ugh, hate when this happens!

fabi September 18, 2015 at 12:32 PM

Here is Maryse’s review of fugly:

Jean, you have read so many back to back 5 stars that it’s no wonder you can’t find the next read now. Wow. I kept watching you post one after the other and thinking what a roll you were on.

Jean September 18, 2015 at 12:55 PM

Haha, I know fabi, hence the book fog! I just started Badger and hoping it keeps me interested, but Amy doesn’t usually steer me wrong! If she does this time, I’ll have to slap her….lol!

Amy September 18, 2015 at 1:43 PM

Oh wow, I really have been in my own little Badger world because I didn’t even realize her review of fugly was up.

Jean, you’re gonna slap me, eh? Well… *fires white paintball at Jean* You’re going to get that reference soon enough if you keep reading The Badger. ;) Fair warning though, it’s not a light read…

Jean September 18, 2015 at 1:53 PM

Blahaha Amy, I just got to that part and I started cracking up in the middle of work! I loved it! Thanks for the warning…..i like “not a light read”.

Cheryl September 18, 2015 at 3:20 PM

Badger sounds interesting; an anti-romance? HEA?? Waiting to hear the final verdict from you Amy.

Jean September 18, 2015 at 3:36 PM

Cheryl, I’m liking it so far but only 10% in…’s different!
