Heartbreak Warfare
WOWOWWWWW!!!! That is the exact feeling I had when I read the very last line. I absolutely LOVED this book to no end.

It encompasses everything that is real and difficult and tumultuous and magnificent when it comes to love, life, heartache and family.

What I want and what I need are rarely in line anymore.

And BOY DID WE FEEL IT!!! Right from the very start:

SUPER-ANGSTY UNCONVENTIONAL LOVE STORY/ROCK STAR ROMANCE ALERT!!

ALSO… MAJOR BUDDY-READ ALERT BELOW!!! Lots of our reactions (some of us loved it and sobbed, some of us cringed and gasped. Some of us did ALL of that).

“Devastation masked in a love story. I see the appeal.”

No kidding.

Yesssss I can see why so many were hooked on this one (and this author). This is my very first time I’ve read this author, and she definitely “goes there” by way of angst, misconduct, swoon worthy moments, shocking situations and downward spirals. Vanessa is looking for this one! She gives us some AMAZING detail and it sounds like an incredibly heartwarming read (and quite a little shock of a spoiler that makes me want to read it) but I will spoiler-alert for you so you don’t see it if you don’t want to. 😉

Oh WOW this one sounds so unique! and angsty and WOW!! And he’s got a phobia and now I’m SO intrigued!!!!

rominew: …one of my faves is BROKEN by A.E. Murphy. It’s gripping, with many twists and the author described the pain the main character was going through in such a way that I couldn’t help but feel for her. And just when I thought that there wouldn’t be more desolation, the second book proves you wrong: you empathize with somebody else.
