I read this… back in December of 2011! After reading and loving Christian Grey, I was adamantly looking for more “like him”. Back when I was fairly “new” to the darker side of books. Well, I mean… I’m quite familiar with horror novels. Love them even. But this is a different kind of scary. Has all of the elements of a thriller (secretly stalking a young woman, kidnapping her, emprisoning her, and training her to be a submissive. A slave, even, for eventual sale.) Scary right!!??

And here it is… friends. Time for me to say again, “We fooooound it!!! We foooooooound it!!!” Yep. We found it. What, exactly did we find?
Weren’t some of you asking me what to read after Fifty Shades? Hrmmmm? Were you? Well. This. Is. IT!! We found it. And now I know… I know. Nothing compares to Fifty. That was our biggest problem, wasn’t it? We’ve found many “similar” books in regards to the subject matter. Some had large elements of BDSM in it, some had the “contract” with the rich, gorgeous tycoon uninterested in love. And some had none of that… just a ton of 5-star intensity that we could easily become addicted to. But none had it all. None of them were quite… “What to read after Fifty.” They were good options, but not perfect.
Book Review – Dance with the Devil by Sherrilyn Kenyon
I am behind in my reviews again. Shame on me because this series is SO much fun, and they should absolutely be discussed. Unfortunately I like them so much, that I simply start the next in the series instead of reviewing the one I just read. I’m actually already reading Night Play (Book six), and am already hooked. That’s the thing about this series. Each book catches me from the start, and I don’t find my attention waning (as it sometimes does when I start a new book).

This is – hands down – one of my absolute favorite series EVER!! Addictive from the start, and I’m still obsessing over the “Brothers”.
