Rachel Van Dyken – Seaside Series Reading Order

By 1 Comment

ROCK STAR SERIES ALERT!!! UPDATED 04-14-2020 (a new one just went LIVE today!!)!

Peyton: Bad boys and Rock Stars! 🙂 I found this one and it just released a few days ago. I liked it a lot! Thought you might too.

Tessa: Tear through Alec’s and Demetri’s POV. I didn’t know this book existed, so I’m super happy. I absolutely adored Tear and all her Seaside books.

Courtney: just finished shatter last night. I really like these books, while they are in high school in book one, you never feel like you’re reading about high school kids. these kids have issues so there is a good story about love and friendships. read more

Abbi Glines – Rosemary Beach Series Reading Order

It is safe to say… we just LOVE this steamy, romantic (but bad-boy style) “new adult” series. I read #1, freaked out (with glee!!) and so many of you freaked out with me. It’s my guilty pleasure and it’s riddled with fun angst, and has twists, turns that made me gasp. And… I fell HARD for “Rush”. Rush is unforgettable, even though he’s infuriating (deliciously so). I questioned my sanity, but my Rush-crushed heart ruled my brain. Rush really shines. Bad boy YES but … totally our kind of bad boy. It’s sweet, and… a little bit dirty. *grins* read more

True Love Story
I FREAKING LOVED IT!!!!!! 5 STARS…. OH YES!!!!! Oh. YES! And yes… I have a bit of “the shakes” right now. I was looking for my heartache, and I got it. And I believed every. single. moment. Every one. My e-book is highlighted yellow, and there are notes everywhere. I just couldn’t stop talking to myself about it.

A few of my random musings…

“I’m in actual physical pain. And yet I can’t release the tears and it’s probably why my chest aches so much.” read more

Book Review – Butterfly Weeds by Laura Miller

Butterfly Weeds
Another superb book find that kept me reading non-stop until I was done. I want to say “WOW!” but this book deserves more then just a wow, for me. And anyway, “wow” is almost a little too loud for this serene yet agitating read. Deep, but in a “hopeless romantic” kind of way. Beautifully written and gentle in it’s approach. Angst-y, yes, but bathed in a delicate, reassuring tone.

It’s subdued, building slowly until your heart just can’t take it anymore, until finally you say ENOUGH please… it hurts. A little give, a lot of take, when it comes to the readers emotions, but, isn’t that what us book-angst-addicts are all about? Moments of sweet relief only to be “caught up” again in the heroine’s head. Seeing things from our perspective, and yet feeling things from hers. read more
