ROMANTIC BETRAYAL ALERT!! Oh I am LOVING getting these recommendations from Margie because these are EXACTLY my trope. I love my love stories difficult. I love to work for it. Just pure intensity.

I love (in BOOKS!! Always only in books!!) to feel the worst, the pain, the shock, the fury… and that slow burn and build up where I love to feel the growth, and discovery and the second chance (which I am often so jaded that it takes some serious work for me to reconnect to the betrayer) OR the brand new (and SO much better) start. Margie just brought this series to my attention and I’m so excited!! This is the trope I LOVE to hate and hate to LOVE. LOL!! P.S. ONLY IN BOOKS!! Always and only ever in books. 😑 *sideeyes the Universe so that it doesn’t get any ideas* 🫤

Ragi need our boy help & HOLY MOLY KINDLE-THROW ALERT! OOOOOOH WHAT A CRAZY-SOUNDING BOOK! Didn’t I read this? I think I read this!!! Either that, or the blurb gave me such a blurb jolt and that’s why this story sound so familiar. Per this description, it has that “Unbreak My Heart” feel to it.

I am looking for a highlander romance i read sometime back.

Highlander hero travels with heroine after an arranged marriage from her castle to his. Journey takes a few days and while they do develop some rappport over the travel it’s not enough. They reach hero’s castle and hero’s mistress/ lehanne is there to welcome him.

I remember over the first dinner heroine feels isolated while mistress fawns all over the hero. And he also spends the first few nights with his mistress. But eventually he sleeps with the heroine. He is actually quite taken up with the heroine his wife but feels he should not develop feelings. read more

Victoria is looking for this one! Oooh tons of AMAZING detail in this description below and it sounds right up our alley! I remember sneaking my mom’s old paperbacks when I was just little and loving them, too. Also, all the biographies she had (I learned a ton about important people I had never even heard of). AND ESPECIALLY her horror novels. Those were my favorite and YES… they kept me up at night (reading…but also with fear). LOL!!!

Ahhhhhh for so many of us, our intro into reading at such a young age started with a lot more than children’s books. 😉 read more
