<— Pure. Sweet. Hilariousness!!!! This is THE uplifting (and kinda deliciously – yet innocently – crude) read of all uplifting reads that everyone needs to read when they want to laugh and swoon, and totally be delightfully embarrassed. Inwardly (for the character), and outwardly, when you find yourself snorting in public and being given the stink-eye. Or the raised eyebrow. 😉

The Mistake (Off-Campus Book 2)
I was so excited for this one ’cause I went absolutely crazy for book #1 (I five starred this bad boy —> The Deal <— my review). Even though it wasn’t overly angsty, nor was it alllll “twisty-turny”, it just hit the spot, ya know? Excellent writing, a heroine I could totally relate too, just enough angst to keep giving me mini stomach aches, and it was SO funny. Or… they were. Because they were perfectly real.

So I knew I was in for more bad-boy hockey player fun, and the insecure/normal-girl romance angst I love, and I just couldn’t wait to do it all over again! read more

Absolute “new adult” angsty-romance reading PERFECTION!!!!!!! Yes. I SAID IT. Romance reading perrrrrrrfection! In fact, could very well be my favorite of 2015. Could I have already found it? I could very well have, but either way, this one has cinched a solid spot in my forever-favorites category. In fact, I was only 75% into the book when I publicly declared it a 5-star read. read more

An all around feel-good read that gave me plenty of out loud chuckles, and a mostly permanent grin as I read it. Not angsty (although plenty fun in the confusing “love” aspect), but mostly just funny as an endearing yet quirky man dead-set in his ways navigates the romance world looking for his perfect wife (dubbed “The Wife Project”). And then finds himself involved in an entirely different project, helping a woman that is ultimately wrong for him on all levels, but he can’t help but be friends with. read more

Beauty and the Mustache, huh? LOL! I had no idea what to think when I saw that cover. 😉 But this author is well-known for her quirky, comedic romances (in fact, here’s my review of her book #1 Neanderthal Seeks Human <— *snort* see what I mean about her book titles?), so I had a feeling we were headed for pure entertainment.

But it was when I received these recommendations (with the promise that it read perfectly as a standalone and I could skip right to it), that I immediately placed this one at the top of my TBR list. I was so excited. (P.S. many recommend reading the series in order anyway, to get the full “character” impact: Knitting in the City Series Reading Order) read more
