You guys. Paula needs us. Her question is short and sweet and has just enough VERY PARTICULAR detail to spark our memories, I just know it!

She asks:

Hi, I don’t know if this is supposed to be here, but I’m looking for a book:

It was about a girl who was a DJ and a vigilante, and a man who was a police officer and ugly (the thought he was undesirable). I think that the girl’s name was Violet but I don’t remember much details.

UPDATE: WE ARE STILL LOOKING for the answer for this, and Shannon tells us it’s NOT a KA book.

LOL!! I totally know what Shannon is going through when she remembers scenes from a book, and can’t tell if she’s having a book-mash-up memory-meltdown.

Either way, whether it’s one book, or two books, they both sound good, so let’s see if anyone here knows which one (or ones) she’s trying to remember.

Transfer (The Retrieval Duet Book 2) <— coming out in just a couple of days!!!
What a perfect conclusion to this awesome “duet”. As good, if not EVEN BETTER than #1, and OMG it was everything I have come to expect from this author. Pure incredible build-up to both an addictive romance, AND an action-packed thrill ride. It’s a perfect mix of love story + scary bad-guy, + awesome hero (or should I say heroes)? 😉

Okay now, there’s not much I can say without spoiling book #1, so anyone that hasn’t read Retrieval (The Retrieval Duet Book 1) yet, stop reading this review now, and get cracking! Oh, and… instead, read THIS review. <— This’ll get you started! read more

Lahill is looking for this biker book and it sounds crazy gritty and dark. It’s loaded in spoiler-ish details so again, I will *spoiler alert* as we go further into the description, but proceed with caution.

“I recently read a book about a woman who gets kidnapped from an mc clubhouse

and I can’t remember if she’s seeing a member or a friend of the club who’s a badass cop or special agent and is there for her safety. They drag her out the side door and its someone she knows. Her father is either the president of the mc or he’s a cop and helps in the search. read more

“Hi, I can’t find a book that a read some time ago.

The h worked for a shop that sells beds and lives across from the H in a unit block.

She takes in 2 kids and the H helps her out. She always rates people and gives them a number out of 10. She rates herself very low and most other people high.
