Wait for It
Okay, so you know when I say I’m in the mood for a certain kind of romance read, and I’m always searching for that “next” one? That one that has me dreaming about it, thinking about it, and reading in slow motion during those awesome parts. Those heartfelt, heart-tugging, butterfly inducing scenes. The silly (or serious) conversations. The surprising glances. The subtle possessive behavior by the one you’re (er… she’s) crushing on so hard, even though he doesn’t realize he’s doing it?

Jenny Han – To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Series Reading Order
HER SECRET LETTERS TO HER CRUSHES WERE ACCIDENTALLY MAILED ALERT!!Β Ohhh sounds like fun angst!Β bev and Jeanie recommend it!
Jeanie: Just finished To All The Boys Iβve Loved Before last night. I loved it and I hate reading about young love or characters in high school, BUT, the writing was so gooooood and the story really surprised me. It kept me guessing the whole time. Except for the endβ¦ (which made me yell WHAAAT???) Not really a cliffy but there is a book #2
bev:Β Great heroine, she is the middle sister and they live together with their widow father. She is kind of quirky and girly. Bits of angst. The follow up book was good too, but the ending needed more. Maybe Lara Jean is just more mature than me but Iβd need more, lol.Β Just was thinking about it today and thought Iβd mention it for those who like a sweeter read now and again.
Book Review – Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Eleanor & Park
Highly recommended by our crew here for months!! YEARS?!! Yes! And I purchased it a LONG time ago, and despite all of the HUGE love for this story… I kept it simmering on my TBR back burner. Why? WHO KNOWS?!! ‘Cause I don’t make any sense. I KNEW I’d love it. How could I knot when so many of my very own reading buds loved it like crazy (even the super-picky ones).
Was I just trying to torture myself? Deprive myself of pure reading pleasure that could last for an entire weekend (and even longer due to potential book-fogginess)? Deprive myself of future reminiscing of this book’s awesomeness?
Book Review – Lady Luck by Kristen Ashley
Lady Luck (Colorado Mountain)
I think it’s safe to say that I adored this book (#3 in the series), considering my need to get a few parts off of my chest via two “currently reading” posts (here and here). I would have to say that Ty’s book so far had me the most emotionally invested out of all of Kristen Ashley’s heroes. While he still doesn’t take the #1 spot on that list (I think it will forever be Tate), he ranks at #2 with Joe. Max is #2.5 (only ’cause he seemed to be the most normal, and put together of the bunch). Shouldn’t he rank as #1, then? Sure, in real life maybe. But these are books and I read ’em to be shocked and appalled, and angrified and then I like to swoon. A LOT! And a mostly normal alpha doesn’t do the shock and appalling stuff as well as the real bad-boys in these series! LOL!
