Following my heart, one book at a time...
MAFIA ROMANCE/FORCED ARRANGED MARRIAGE ALERT! And Lauren just found out that each book in this whole series is super-bargain priced for the next few days!!
Lauren: All of the books in Bethany-Kris’s Chicago War series are on sale… Excellent series! …I’d read anything Bethany-Kris writes. I love her books! The Filthy Marcellos series is so good but her best is the Russian Guns series. Best Russian Mafia books I’ve ever read!!!!
About book #1
Lies and love. This is how a war starts.
THIS LIST HAS BEEN UPDATED 03-26-2020!! 😀 P.S. After this list, if you’re looking for even more? Check out the entire “Mafia Romance” category on my blog. 😀
After our latest BIG HIT mafia read (and a recent reader question about an upcoming mafia book), we’ve been getting a bunch of requests for more mafia-book recommendations. There are a TON out there, but there are some that really stand out in the crowd.
And while I used to refer my friends and fellow readers to my “Top Illicit Bad Boys” list (which is loaded in various types of “bad guys” including mafia men), this genre really has it’s own HUGE following now, and sometimes we’re just in the mood for a wealthy mob-boss, and no other “bad-boy” or even “bad-guy” will do!
<— I KNOW this one set many in our reading crew ON FIRE!!!! Dark, gritty, raw + a bossy alpha jerk (bad guy??). Sounds like fun! But there was lots of moaning over the fact that everyone had to wait for book #2 (guess King had a killer cliffhanger). 😉
Well guess what? We are on Book #3 now, ’cause IT. IS. LIVE TODAY!!!!
Marit: OMG OMG OMG!!!! I’m 22% into KING by T.M Frazier! Guys, you HAVE to read this book
I’m going crazy and I can’t go to sleep now! He’s so HOT and bossy..and she’s so vulnerable. *Squeeeeeee*
Mafia romance lovers, here’s a new series for us!!! Yes, us… ’cause I love the mafia books too, and book #3 was just released!
My friend Kandace is really into this series, and Fiona loves this author, too!
“Since I joined your group i have found such great books via your recommendations thank you so much my last lot were by Cora Reilly were great”
About book #1:
Born into one of the leading Mob families in Chicago, Aria Scuderi struggles to find her own path in a world where no choices are given. Aria was only fifteen when her parents betrothed her to Luca – The Vice – Vitiello, the oldest son of the head of the New York Cosa Nostra to ensure peace between the two families. Now with eighteen, the day Aria has been dreading for years is looming dangerously: her wedding to Luca.
MAFIA ALERT!!! Italian and Irish… and both are groomed to be mob bosses of opposing families! BUT!!!
“Their marriage was arranged by their fathers in hopes to end years of bloodshed between the Irish and the Italians.”
Awesome reviews for ’em and book #3 was just released today! Our own fellow readers are loving them!
Melanie: Just finished book two in this series and it was INCREDIBLE. If you’re in the mood for a mob/mafia series you have to read this one. I am dying for book 3, releases in March
