I’m a long time reader of your blog! Throughout the years, I have added to my TBR pile thanks to you! This is my FIRST best reads list! I’m not sure why but all my faves were DARK reads. I didn’t mean for it to be that way but…Gah! So what does that say about me?!?!? *shrugs shoulders* 😉🤣
Now, first, let’s start with some fun 2021 Steph N comment highlights!
R.Renee wasn’t it you that I share a love of LP with? …I have tickets (meet and greet with LP) and Harry a week apart in early Oct. I hope they both happen, they were both reschedules from 2020 of course.
OMG I think R. Renee has become my book triplet (Tasha J. being my book twin 😉 ) I didn’t realize how much R. was into horror and creepy stuff like I am. And I will absolutely finish Whisper Down the Lane (I started it, and held off for something sweeter), and also, I LOVED “In Five Years” like she did… AND I just one-clicked “Still Beating”. YAY ME!!! Thank you R!!
Now… for some 2021 R. Renee comment highlights (she talks food, kitchen appliances, books, and skin care with us regularly and… she’s wonderfully worldly so we get her trip updates too!!) so anyone new here can get to know her better. She’s AWESOME. And also an awesome author. Just sayin’. 😉 Also she’s a fan of CereVe which is also MY new favorite!

Rochelle: Funny how we change and the environment around us can cause this change. I find being in a fragile state (Covid) changes what I want to read. I want to feel good, laugh and defiantly have a HEA!
Swathi is looking for these and I gotta say, I’m with her. THOSE are my favorite paranormal books, too.
Nothing better than a freaked-out human heroine and that slow burn as she discovers her Hero is a bad-ass protector and all the other amazing things that comes with a paranormal Hero. What a Hero indeed. *swoooooon*
Of course, what immediately comes to mind is Bella in Twilight (at least for the first few books, anyway – so I totally indulged in that feeling with her).
Also a few of the heroines (that end up becoming a Brother’s “shellan”) in Black Dagger Brotherhood (like Jane, and Mary <— one of my FAVORITES!!). I would have almost said Beth in the first book, but that’s right – she was half vampire but didn’t know it yet – but she still freaked out REALLy good!!
