Kris is looking for recommendations! Oh I’ve read a bunch like this… I just can’t pinpoint exact books just yet. Hopefully my memory comes back to me and I can add some to this list, too.
Like, I think a few circumstances in the Anita Blake series, and of course, the Sookie Stackhouse series (part fae and vampires… oh boy! PURE trouble).
And I have a feeling, Jacob (werewolf) and Renesmee (vampire) will be problematic if Stephenie Meyer ever writes their story, in the Twilight series one day. 😉 Tee hee!

obviously 2020 was a crazy year for everyone. As a result of Covid our kids were home for virtual school starting in March and since I have a chronic illness they have continued to be in virtual school ever since. This has been a difficult adjustment and thankfully reading has has been a wonderful reprieve from the chaos in our lives.
Sarah is looking for a recommendations on this specific trope. I LOVE THIS LIST IDEA!!!
I totally LOVE when there’d be a few chapters of the grumpy Hero suddenly having to care for the heroine (often, they weren’t “together” yet), when she’d get a flu or something, and he’d become attached to her… and see her in a different light.
Those were always my favorite scenes… *swoooooon*
