Hi Maryse!

I’m hoping you and your crew can help me find a book! I think it came out in the past year – or I just read it during quarantine.

The hero is a rich, burned out businessman who decides to take a month off and spend it at his mother/grandmother’s empty villa, I think in Italy and the house was already rented to the heroine.

Cynthia needs our book help! Oh a series question and book #2 would just INFURIATE me!! Ohhhhhh boy, these angsty books put me through the ringer.

To tell you the truth, book #2 rings a big bell for me. I don’t know if I read this one, or read one with a similar “reveal” but I’m dying to know.

Lola needs our book help! Ohhhh and I love alpha males, and and the whole police romance trope (and men in uniform romance while we’re at it 😉 ) so I can’t wait until we find it!

This might be vague but I don’t remember much about this book because I read it a few years back.

The protagonists are- a super possessive cop, a very sweet shy heroine. It has Kristen Ashley feels, but it is definitely not her (so it is not Breathe for sure).

It is angsty, has some ex gf drama. It is set in the 2000s in a small town. I think the heroine has a best friend, but i am not sure. read more
