reader question

This reader question immediately brought “Mafia Captive” to mind, but there is no way this reader could have missed the “captive” part of the story when the bad-guy she was hiding from finds her. Since she did not include that part it in her question, I don’t think my guess is the right one.

I am trying to remember the name of a book I read a sample of earlier. A girl takes a bus from Memphis to Chicago to visit a friend for the summer. She meets the friend and they go to a bar and order drinks and food from a bartender Bennett! He is bad news!! Looked good I failed to 1 click. Any ideas! Oh her parents are song writers in Nashville.

Okay here’s a reader question that looks like it might end up being an angsty infuriating book, considering how the question ends…

“My sister was telling me the other day about a book she was reading, I forgot the name of it or if it was even out yet, but it sounded good and I have been looking every were for it! The part she was telling me about went this way:

This girl wakes up alone in her bed, she wonders where her guy is, she finds him in the living room with a glass with amber colored liquid in it and he looks like he is asleep. But when she goes to take the glass he grabs her and holds her, she tells him he needs to go to bed and that is where he was going and her guy says he wants to sleep with her but she says no not tonight because she had found out that day that he had cheated on her…” read more

So here’s another reader question and this one comes from our Facebook page. Also sounds quite heart wrenching… dealing with a very difficult subject matter. Rene needs help with a book, and this one sounds kind of heart wrenching. I *spoilered* out a tiny bit about the end, although I’m thinking it’s probably more of a cliffhanger if she’s looking for the second book.
