Reader Question – The book about a single mom who is a nurse and she moves into a house that was being taken care of by the town sheriff…

September 14, 2017 By Maryse Leave a Comment

YAY!! This is one I could answer, because I just recently read it. It’s got that awesome KA (Kristen Ashley) feel, and so many here went crazy for it! In case you’re looking for a bossy-alpha male that’s quite a jerk-face at first, and you haven’t read this one yet, I recommend it!

Elizabeth asked:

Hi Maryse,

I am looking for the name of a book that I believe I recently read but I read so much that I am not sure. Anyway this book has recently been on my mind but I cannot remember the name or the author. read more

Reader Question – Requesting recommendations for “other side of the tracks” romance books

September 14, 2017 By Maryse 3 Comments

Sarah wants book recommendations, and I can’t help but be excited by a list like this! This is exactly what I love, too!

She asks:

Sarah: So I just finished Cyanide by Ella Fields and all I can say is WOW!!!! That’s probably because I stayed up all night to finish it 🙂

But it got me thinking, I would love some suggestions of “other side of the tracks” romance books.

I immediately thought of Perfect Chemistry (A Perfect Chemistry Novel Book 1) by Simone Elkeles and the Crown of Lies (Truth and Lies Duet Book 1) by Pepper Winters but would most definitely appreciate other titles because I’m just not ready to let go of the angst that comes with these types of stories. read more

Reader Question – The book about the single dad and the intern at his company…

September 7, 2017 By Maryse 1 Comment

Jennifer needs our help! It’s not much to go on, but I think for someone that has read it, this is enough info to solve it. 🙂

She asks:

HELP: Have you heard of a book where he is a single dad and she’s the intern of his company that has a NO fraternizing policy.

He decides to fight his feelings until he finds out she just moved into his building???

Short and sweet, and sounds nice and angsty. 😉

Anyone know it?

Jennifer: P.S. So the reason it’s so short is because I saw it on amazon and was going to order it then realized I was on my husbands amazon and I closed it out to get into mine. Name unknown and boom….now I can’t get it out of my head. read more

Reader Question – The book about the human heroine that has dreams of this guy she has never met…

September 7, 2017 By Maryse 5 Comments

Oh I love this question, ’cause I’ve ALWAYS preferred the paranormal books that involve a human heroine.

Such shock and drama to find out about the “others” and then to become mated to one. *ooooomph!!* 😀

And Gabby is looking for this one, in particular:

This was a paranormal wolf shifting book, the heroine is full human but she has dreams of this guy she has never met and the guy ends up being a wolf pack leader waiting to meet his mate which he keeps dreaming about as well.

I think he own a hotel chain or resort and ends up hiring her to work there?

I think this was also a series about the other characters too.

Anyone know it?

Theresa: Sounds familiar. Could it be Katie Reus? Maybe Serafina series or one of her others? …Could it be Katie Reus? She has series with hotel owners

Lauren: Give me a minute to check my library. I read this one over the summer.

Lauren: Found it!!! Wolfe’s Den (Wolfe Creek Book 1) by C.M. Steele. Great book, amazing series!!!

Span: Is it With Everything I Am (The Three Series Book 2) by Kristen Ashley?

Gabby: Ahhh yes!! It was Wolfe’s Den. Thank you!!!

Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved. Thanks guys!! 😀

Reader Question… Solved! The book about a young quirky computer genius who works for a company, and there’s a love triangle!

August 31, 2017 By Maryse 7 Comments

Laurie is looking for this one! Oooooh good ol’ love triangles! Full of angst, and indecision and reader “teams” that want one or the other to be chosen. 😉

This one (I think as far as I can tell from Laurie’s description!!) is between her gorgeous boss and maybe a cop? YAY!

She asks:

Hi Maryse, I have been wracking my brain trying to think of a book title and wanted to see if you could help (I think it was a series).

She’s a young quirky computer genius who works for a company and her gorgeous wealthy boss (also a tech genius) asks her to look into a security issue privately.

There was a love triangle with an undercover cop or agent? and her teenage niece also comes and lives with her.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Anyone know it?

Dani: I’m reading this now, I think its Follow Me (Corrupted Hearts) by Tiffany Snow. Book 3 is out in September, start rereading now!

Maryse: Dani! I had a feeling it was a book by Tiffany Snow!!!

Laurie: Yay, that’s it!! I thought it was a series and the other day when I wanted to check to see if a new one had come out, I couldn’t remember the title. Thank you so much!

Dani: You’re welcome!!! (I’ve been watching Moana)Leslie: I haven’t read this one yet but Tiffany Snow’s Kathleen Turner series was best love triangle EVER!!

Laurie: Agreed! If you liked that series, I really think you’ll like this one too. The main character is so funny!

Maryse: YAY!!! 😀 Thanks guys! Another one solved.
