Worth the Fall: The McKinney Brothers
I was soooo in the mood for a book like this. It was a total “new-to-me” surprise in a recent release list with a premise that had my heart, right from the start. I just knew this would be my next. And… it’s not because I read many “military” romance books (although I have no idea why, ’cause to me, these guys are the ultimate heroes while retaining their bad-ass alpha-ness). Perfect for me. I should read more of ’em!

Book Review – Louder Than Love by Jessica Topper

Louder Than Love
*sigh* I’m grinning ear to ear!! That was just one of the sweetest, most well-rounded books I’ve read in awhile.
Claudia: I just finished “Louder than Love” by Jessica Topper and I totally loved!!!!!
Louise: I have almost finished Louder Than Love and I loved it! It was definitely a 5 star for me thanks for the recommandation!
Maryse: I know!!!! OMG SO good it’s just… almost perfect for me. That one gave me “that” feeling when I was done. Just wait until the last line…There’s just *something* about it that had me beaming by the end… As Kandace (and crew) would say… it gave me the “feels”
Book Review – At Peace by Kristen Ashley
At Peace (The ‘Burg Series)
At Peace was everything I was hoping it would be. It had the gorgeous, hulking, protective SUPER-Alpha male. Super Alpha (aka Uber-alpha). You know the kind… master of his universe. The exact type of Alpha that we’ve come to expect from Kristen’s novels. The reason we’ve mostly become obsessed with these books are simply because her alphas are equal parts arrogant jerk and perfect hero.
A little bit of a “player” (’cause every woman wants them, and they know it), bossy ’cause he’s skilled in all aspects of life, seemingly emotionally disconnected (maybe a bit broken… and fixable?), and yet, when he finally let’s his heart go, there is no one better. You can BARELY choose one of her heroes as the perfect one, ’cause each one, is the perfect one. Each one has something special, beautiful, intense, flawed yet flawless.
