Following my heart, one book at a time...
Sonny is looking for this book! Yep!!! I think I’ve read this one and it’s pretty great (one of my FAVORITE authors). Okay let me check my book reviews (I read it back in 2012 or 2013?)
Okay I found it, and I posted my guess below but I’m pretty it’s the right one. 😀
She asks:
Hi Maryse!
So I just read “A Pound of Flesh” by Sophie Jackson this is my second time reading it and reminded me of a book I read a while back that is similar. I just can’t remember the name of the book.
Paula needs our book help! OMG this sounds so dark and painful!!! I can’t even imagine… I NEED to know this one too!
She asks:
Please help look for this book – I have been searching for hours a day on my time off and cannot find it.
It was an arranged marriage – for when she comes of age or when the hero was older – the heroines father dies and her step-brother becomes her guardian.
He is horrible and tortures her – makes her beg for food – and when she does he cuts her arms to horrible scars. Also makes her have sex (but will not let his associates or friends take her virginity – just everything else)
Miyah is looking for this book. Tons of spoilers below because Miyah remember the ending of book #1, and the beginning of the sequel so proceed with caution. 😉 ⚠️ SIDENOTE: I did spoiler alert for you.
She asks:
I’ve been looking for this book for a few days and finally have given up and thought I’d ask here. I read this book maybe a year or two ago and remember it being 3 books long.
It was an Italian mafia romance with the the main couple being Nico and nilsa or nilla maybe?

She asks:
Hello!
I am trying to remember a book series that I read a year or so ago.
Pretty sure I read 2 books with more coming later which is why I’m thinking about it now to find out if any new books are out yet!
It’s set in Ireland and the boy is a rugby player and the girl is abused by her father.
Fingers crossed you can help me out!
