Michelle needs our book help! And I LOVE this kind of trope. Reminds me of Sweet Dreams and how the bar owner (Tate!) treated her and what she overheard him say about her. Remember that. ROAR!!!! But boy did that part hook me HARD. And I LOVED that book. P.S. Here’s my review.

Though I don’t think that’s the one she’s looking for, because the heroine in the book she’s looking for is young.

Book Review – The Invitation by Vi Keeland

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! The writing was wonderful, the dialogue was amazing and realistic, and I could truly “see” the characters in real life, and the interactions. It flowed smoothly despite the bumpy ride. OH YES. What a tangled web it weaved and it had a bit of that soap opera drama but the good kind, ya know? I mean… when the reveals hit, THEY HIT BIG!!!

BUT ALSO… HOLY MOLY this book had so much heart. He might be a billionaire… or millionaire (and I haven’t read anything “billionaire-y” in ages) but this Hero was down to earth and so much fun (as well as super grumpy at times – which was also my favorite). Also… his moments of jealousy. YES PLEASE!! I always love when that happens. 😉 read more

Reader Question… Solved! The book about the woman that has to volunteer at the prison teaching in the library…

Okay this reader question has just already been guessed, but the book sounded SO DARN gooooood that I had to post it, in case anyone wanted to read it, too! 😀

Now, at first I was thinking it might be Hard Time by Cara Mckenna (4.5 STAR loved it – she’s a librarian teaching in a prison and falling for an inmate – and here’s my review) but that’s pretty much where things change from Kari’s description.

How cool is this??!! An entire series (each book written by different authors) that are based on the HUGELY popular “Cocky Heroes” series by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward!

P.S. Each one below is a standalone, however cleverly intersect with some of the characters (or worlds) from the original “Cocky Hero” series. 🙂 You do not need to have read the original series to enjoy these, but, it would make it so much more fun! 😀

I couldn’t help myself but jump right into this one after the authors sent it my way (squirreling from my two thrillers I had started) ’cause I kept hearing about a twist many didn’t see coming, and that’s just my catnip!!!! I CANNOT RESIST A JAW-DROPPING TWIST!!! And this one had it, in spades!!! SQUEEEE!!
