Following my heart, one book at a time...
Kristen is looking for this book… and these are the good guys (well… except for the assassin guy). 😉 She gives just enough details from a few of the books in the series that I have no doubt someone’ll recognize ’em. Almost sounds like a KA series (she’s got an abundance of bossy, bad-ass, good-guy heroes), so if you’re looking for more like that, I bet this one will be for you!
She asks:
Hey so I have been searching for days of a series I red some time ago.
Since J.A. Redmerski’s MUCH LOVED “In the Company of Killers” series is being made into a movie and TV series I’ve had a few requests lately for a list of our favorite assassins romance books!
Robyn: I’m rereading JA Redmerski’s In the Company of Killers series. I am so in love with these books even though I’ve read them so many times. There is just something about assassins and their mates that hook me. I love this trope! We should make a list Maryse!
Stephanie: I would also love to see Maryse create a list of Assassin’s novels because I absolutely loved the Killing Sarai (In the Company of Killers Book 1) Series and haven’t really seen any other series/novels like it.
Jane Doe: A Novel
Okay… this psych-thriller was just FABULOUS!!!! Fans of Tarryn Fisher’s female villains that you just can’t help but root for? THIS IS FOR YOU!!!!
Maryse: I’m reading AND LOVING “Jane Doe”!!! If you want a plotting, sharp-as-a-tack sociopathic heroine in the vein of one of Tarryn Fisher’s magnificent villains (or are they vigilantes? 🙂 )… read this!!!
HOLY MOLY I’m in love with the writing (and the heroine’s voice). I’ve been craving more Tarryn Fisher and this one is hitting the spot BIG TIME! P.S. It’s super-bargain priced and on KU!!
BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!! Afterlife (Crossbreed Series Book 10) JUST WENT LIVE!!! ALSO!!! The Crossbreed Series (Books 1-3) is super-bargain priced right now!! 😀
Paranormal urban fantasy series much loved by a few in our crew here!
Robyn: Keystone. It’s book 1 of her new series. This book stars Mr. Vampire, Christian Poe, from her Mageri series!!
…I have also read all of the Crossbreed books, plus every other Dannika Dark book! Christian Poe started in her Mageri series…FYI. You should check out her other books, you won’t be disappointed. …If your into PNR, she’s the Girl for you. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with any of her books.
Method 15/33
Good. Really good! I was more into the first half than the second half, but it rounds out well (In a good or bad way? My lips are sealed). 😉
Creepy and a bit terrifying but what kept me calm was the victim. No matter her uncertain, extremely dire situation and the lack of control she had on her current situation, she was plotting. She was thinking. She was getting ready to turn the tables.
Tricking someone into thinking he has power is the ultimate power play.
And I was right there with her!!!
