<— Remember the first one? The zombie that still had feelings, and a certain amount of consciousness and befriends a human girl? And what had me the most interested was not that it was a love story during a zombie apocalypse. Nope. No. I mean, an actual LOVE STORY between a human girl, and a zombie. eek*gasp*!!! Wrecking Ball (Hard To Love Book 1)
SWEEEEEET but in perfect harmony with the whole slow-burn, OH-NO-HE-DIDN’T-WHAT-A-JERK kind of fun! Gah I love a reluctant hero (reclusive, or just darn moody) and this one had him in droves!

It was exactly as my fellow readers squeeeeee’d about.

D.G.: Soooo….Wrecking Ball!!!!!!!!!!! If you FLOVED The Wall of Winnipeg and Me, then you will definitely dig WB!!! This guy is such a strong, huge quiet jerk! And she wants to throat punch him like a lot!!!! Mix in a kid…some football and crazy jealousy…my kinda book! read more

Guest Review (my sister!!) – Chained: Brides of the Kindred book 9 by Evangeline Anderson

Chained: (BBW Alien Romance) (Brides of the Kindred Book 9)

Review by Johanne Pearl Couturier (4.5 stars)

Feels so good to be back to reading after so many months! Not that I did not read during those last months, believe me! But they were study books about the mortgage broker’s industry as well as real estate investment. Now that my classes and exams are passed, let’s get back to a bit of “feel good and sexy” leisure time!

Remember in the last review “Shadowed – Book 8”, I was telling you about a clumsy character? Well, as usual, Evangeline did not disappoint me, not in the least! Some of the goofs, you see coming from a mile, but that only adds to the fun of how it all happens! I was smiling and giggling a lot throughout the book but there is one part that made me laugh so hard, I was crying. So, for those of you who read in public (on the commute, at the coffee shop or the laundromat), you could get puzzled looks… or smiles!  read more
