Book #2 is (Love in the Light (Hearts in Darkness Duet Book 2) is releasing TOMORROWWWWW and I am TOTALLY reading it, and! Plus!! I have an excerpt for us to indulge in, right now. AND a giveaway! Why am I so excited? *gasp* ‘Cause I totally fell head-over-heels in love with book #1 (Hearts in Darkness (Hearts in Darkness Duet Book 1) right?!! It’s a TOTALLY unique and fun and exciting and OMG super-steamy story about two strangers that get stuck in an elevator together. They are both in pitch black darkness, and didn’t actually “see” each other when they boarded the elevator, so they don’t know what the other looks like. And here’s the kicker. I had to check TWICE, what day it was today (Monday… NOT Tuesday)? Are you sure?

How can these HIGHLY anticipated books already be live? What happened? Did I skip a day? Was yesterday Monday and today is Tuesday? I feel like Rip Van Winkle (and like… maybe I slept through a whole day) but then I realized, heck no. It IS Monday and yet these books are live… and and… who the heck cares?!!!! Book Review – Missed Connection by K. Larsen and Mara White

I was excited for this one! Just the fact that it was written by an author that made my best of 2015 list, sent this one to the top of my TBR list. The blurb, indicating this was a story exploring second chance love, about people from two different worlds (ooooh potential conflict!!) AND then this part of the synopsis really had me wondering…

“…making the very best you can with what little you’ve got.”

Oh yes. I was in! And don’t get me started on that intriguing prologue. Lots of answers that DO eventually come to light. read more

Riley Mackenzie – Beautifully Awake Series Reading Order

Anna: I LOVED the Beautifully Awake series! Got connected quick, and didn’t want to stop reading once I started.
