Gail McHugh’s “Amber to Ashes” signed ARC giveaway!

Gail McHugh is having a book giveaway right here on the blog!! It’s for her upcoming book release Amber to Ashes (The Torn Heart Series Book 1) (coming out tomorrow!!!!) and it sounds like it’s gonna be ANGSTY!!!!!! Definite love triangle. In fact, I’ve just started my review copy, and I have no doubt she’ll tear our hearts out!

Yep! I think it will, ’cause I just found an old post where the author said:

“I keep telling those of you who’ve expressed your excitement regarding the release of ATA the same thing: “I do hope you enjoy the Ashes series. It’ll consist of two books, with approx. five months in between the release of Amber to Ashes and the second (currently unnamed) and final book. This series isn’t Collide and Pulse. Not even close. But (in my opinion) that’s a good thing. A very good thing. It’s deeper, darker, a twisted tale of love, pain, and fear, all beautifully (but messily) intertwined between three very lost, very confused souls. Cut and dry: it’ll hurt, the ending leaving you far more pissed off at me than you were when you read the last words in Collide. twisted Still, I’ll mend you (as best as I can) by the end of the second book. What the heck is the peanut list you ask? And what do peanuts have to do with books? Welllll…. it appears we have our very own “peanut gallery” here at Maryse’s Book Blog, and our comment crew has taken to throwing peanuts at those of us that have not yet read the SO OBVIOUS favorites. Well… can’t blame a book-addict for that, right? If it’s you favorite, why the heck haven’t I (or others) read it yet? I get ya!

Blast from the past – My HUGE LOVE for “The Downside Ghost” series…

It would seem I have been depriving some of you. *gasp*!!! eek I read this series back in 2010? 2011? and freaked out over it. I consider it one of THE BEST paranormal/urban fantasy (actually it’s more “urban fantasy”) series out there EVER.

But some of my latest and greatest “blog crew” have only arrived here,  recently. Or at least, after my huge paranormal stint. And some of you paranormal addicts haven’t even heard of this one??!!!! rolleyes FOR SHAME!!! —> And I’m to blame. read more

STILL DESPERATELY SEEKING THIS BOOK!

Jennifer needs our “book help” so I posted it on Facebook to see if we’d get a bite. We got bites, alright but just from those chomping at the bit to find out what book this is.

GAH!!! Now we ALL want to know this one, and so far, nobody on Facebook has guessed it. But now we’re a huge “following this thread” crew. Please someone out there must know… we need relief!!
