Skyla Madi – Consumed Series Reading Order

In the mood for a sexy MMA fighter series? And I’m talkin’ about everything we love on a cocky alpha-male bad-a$$ fighter. Book #2 was just recently released, and book #3 is expected out at the end of this month. 😀  I read book #1 and really enjoyed it (here’s my review). And so did these fellow readers:

Nicole: I just finished Consumed.  I really liked it. … found it hard to put it down.  And it made me cry too.  Very few books have to power to do that.  This would be only my third time crying during a book. read more

Ooooh I LOVE “Hermit/Recluse” hero books, and I thought I had her answer, until she mentioned the local sheriff.

But wait!! I think I remember reading one like this last year and I LOVED it, ’cause it had quite the awesome twist that I totally didn’t see coming. Or maybe that was er… a movie? Okay… lemme think… lemme think. While I search my reviews for the title of the one I’m thinking of, maybe you guys already know?

There is this book I can’t quite remember the title or even the author. But I think the story goes that the woman gets in some sort of trouble and ends up in a secluded mountain area in a cabin I think. Then her neighbor there is a bit of a recluse but soon finds her endearing. I think the local sheriff or something also likes the heroine. read more

Reader Question – The book where the girls get drunk and lay down on the dance floor… hehe.

Well… you know. It’s not a *huge* description, but a bunch of drunk girls lying on a dance floor sure seems like a funny scene, so maybe someone here will know which series she’s looking for. 😉

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! The first two books of a hugely popular “MMA FIGHTER” series just went on sale!! For many, “Remy” is right up there with “Travis” in terms of *oomph* and intensity, and
alpha-ness, and well, I could go on and on. 😉 I *heart* Remy like crazy, and book #1 had me melting. Travis is
still my #1, but I can definitely see how Remy is so many’s #1 book-boyfriend.

Happy “Bargains Finds & Reader Recommendations” day!! There are plenty to be excited about on this list, and in fact, five that I am highlighting, yet again, ’cause they’re just drumming up SO much reader-enthusiasm, that I couldn’t resist: Beautiful Ink, Monster in His Eyes, Alpha and of course It Ain’t Me, Babe (this is the one I’m reading now). These books are still at the top of my TBR list with nary a shift. 😉 In fact, out of all of these it would seem it doesn’t matter which one I’ll pick next, it’ll be a winner! read more

Dean Koontz – Odd Thomas Series Reading Order

Now, while many of you know I’m a huge horror fan (be it books or movies), I don’t usually post much horror-wise, on this blog. But I just couldn’t help myself with this series.

Mind you… I wouldn’t consider this full-on “horror” (at least not the way Dean Koontz usually does it). This has it’s serious creep-factor, but there’s just something about it that eases the “scary” and seems more… “Supernatural”/”Buffy the Vampire Slayer-ish” (and my husband said reminds him a bit of True Blood). 😐 Okay… sure. read more
