Another biker series! I remember seeing these as I added them to the “Ultimate Biker List” and it appears some of our fellow readers are enjoying and highly anticipating the latest release.

Julie: Maryse, just reading through your list of questions. Have you heard when Jayna Vixen’s 3rd book “leather and Sand” is coming out?  I had heard this summer but can’t find anything out about it.  Thanks for you help.

Super-gritty biker-read lovers, look!! Okay, to be fair, many of you have probably already read “Seize Me”. After all, we’re on quite a quest for more motorcycle club romance/unconventional love stories, aren’t we? We just can’t resist characters with “selective” hearts of gold (in private) juxtaposed with their hardened personas in public. Hardcore bad-asses, and a totally different kind of social infrastructure.

These books… these characters aren’t about “politically correct”, and “socially acceptable” behavior, and often, anything goes. The ugly parts (the women, the violence, their uncompromising rules and… the “business”) are all a part of the lifestyle. And that can be just as exciting as the romance. Er… if you can call these “romance”. 😉 read more

Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – September 3rd 2013

Here are todays latest book releases! Quite a few paranormals, today that have already caught my eye. Of course, Styxx!! (eeeeep YAY ME!) but also, look! One of our favorite authors (S.C. Stephens, author of “Thoughtless”) just released book #1 in her vampire series “Conversion“. Christine Feehan just released Dark Lycan (Carpathian). I used to read her voraciously ’cause her paranormals were so alpha – I mean, ridiculously alpha! Almost smotheringly so, but in a book, that can be fun to read. 😉 read more

Book Review – The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty

The Husband’s Secret
This book left me reeling, but in a good way. Errr… can one reel… positively? Ahhhh, no matter, my brain is in stun-mode, ’cause this one’s a stunner. It’s devastating, brilliant, and clever! Both amusing and agonizing and just so realistic. It touches on a plethora of emotions and thoughts that I wholeheartedly connected to, leaving me at times touched, and at times appalled at the revelations as each piece of the puzzle was discovered and snapped into place. read more
