Whooooo that was a long, very exciting wait! Speculation ran wild for so many gorgeous actors that would have fit the Fifty Shades of Grey roles perfectly, but the actors chosen for Christian and Ana have finally been announced! And the official word has come from the author herself!

E.L. James just tweeted:

Book Review – Savage Rhythm by Chloe Cox

Savage Rhythm (Club Volare)
I admit it. The cover got me. 😉 I mean, just look at him. He’s so strong and brooding-looking. But what had me adding it to the top of my TBR list was the promise of not just a rock star romance, but a Dom rock star at that. Yes please! I’m was in!

I don’t have that much experience with the whole D/s romance-book culture yet, but I always seem to love ’em when I read ’em (even those where my “star rating is in the 3’s). ‘Cause sometimes, I find them to be a bit much, a bit fluffy (and I eyeroll or giggle at some of the stuff said…), but I still never forget them. In the end, the collar always gets me. Tee hee! read more

Book Review – Craving Constellations by Nicole Jacquelyn

Craving Constellations (The Aces)
Gritty biker book alert! This one had just enough softness and just enough rawness to keep me reading and believing. While there’ve been a few “darker reads” lately that I’ve found myself struggling with (a few outrageous too-much-too-soon turn of events that… lost me along the way), this one, even in it’s very rough and hate-able moments… was believable. And that’s just what I needed, to stay focused on it’s own version of abrasive angst. Not so much eye-rolling, or exasperation. Just pure and real infuriation and terror. And some tender awwww’ing. read more
