Book Review – And With Madness Comes the Light by Karina Halle

And With Madness Comes the Light (EIT book #6.5)
This review isn’t really all that “spoiler-y” but for those new to this series, you *might* want to skip this. Although… you may fall for Dex just on this review alone. 😉 Tee hee!! But I ADAMANTLY recommend this series ’cause it’s one of my favorite series of allllll time!! You can start from the beginning (book #1 is free right now)
—> Experiment in Terror Series Reading Order

Right off the bat, I’m giving this “Dex POV” novella 5 stars!! To be afforded the opportunity of re-living many key scenes from the Experiment in Terror series since that big crazy moment at the end of book #4, that put us all in a frenzy? I’m going to say it’s perfect. P-E-R-F-E-C-T. Any time I can spend with Dex I. Will. Take!! And, to go through some of that really hard stuff in the mind of the one I was SO mad at… is an interesting perspective for sure. read more

Jessica Sorensen – The Secret of Ella and Micha Trilogy Reading Order

February 24, 2013 By Maryse 6 Comments

The first book in this “new adult” series took readers by storm, and it’s already been picked up by a big publisher (Grand Central Publishing)! Two more books to come, and some very excited readers are anticipating them.

Lisa: I just finished The Secret Of Ella & Micha by Jessica Sorensen. Bad home life, Best Friends, Bad Boy, Good Girl with a bad attitude – what more could a girl ask for? This was a quick read that was enjoyable.

Kim:If you haven’t read The Secret of Ella and Micha you must. Can anyone say new book boyfriend? read more

Erica Stevens – The Captive Series Reading Order

February 23, 2013 By Maryse 14 Comments

Book #1 has been free on occasion (I think it’s free right now, even!), and I’ve been noticing some some of our fellow readers chatting about this series. They like it! One of our dark & creepy romances? Not sure, but from that synopsis, I think I’m gonna love it, and considering there’s a vampire in this one, I might love it even more! I’ve been wanting to get into a nice intense vampire series.

Amy: OMG guys!!! The Captive series… Braith the vampire is dangerous and protective and swoon-worthy and scary and just…GAH! It’s books 1 through 6 plus the prequel (which BROKE my heart and left me with a nice solid ache for, like, 3 days) but I would recommend waiting on the prequel until after book 4 to get the full effect of it. Even the author said SHE cried while writing the prequel. Okay, I’m done gushing. 😉 read more

Also next on my TBR list:

But tonight? —-> It’s me ‘n Dex!! And With Madness Comes the Light (Experiment in Terror #6.5) by Karina Halle! I was late for my date with Dex last week, (it was Valentines Day *oops* although… he was well surrounded by so many of you 😉 ) *grins* so I’ve re-scheduled for tonight. YAY ME!!!

NOTE: Free and bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.
