Following my heart, one book at a time...
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas day and Holiday season, full of joy, laughter, family and friends, good food, and hugs! And plenty of books!!
From all of ME to all of you 😉 I love you guys!!
My husband introduced me to this awesome guitar player (Tuck Andress), and we listen to his Christmas CD every year. Thought I’d share something sweet with you. By the way, everything was recorded by only this guy, in one take, with one instrument. Amazing!!
So, a few days ago, my friend Jackie (who’s on a huge Kellan & Christian Grey kick right now) and I were discussing how great our book year was, and comparing our favorite book-guys. Many of our fellow Facebook readers got in on the action, and we’ve come up with some very similar lists! Although… Jackie and a few of you have included some books that I haven’t gotten to yet, and now I have more to look forward to!
Here’s what we came up with (Jackie went first). Feel free to join in, in the comments below. Maybe you can introduce us to some new swoon worthy heroes and alpha males, for the upcoming year. My TBR list is long, but i’m always happy to add to it, and switch things around in order of awesome, insistent recommendations! 😉
I noticed these books a couple of days ago on Amazon, when I saw how many 5 star reviews they had (TONS!!). And then fellow reader Desiree contacted me, and convinced me that they were a must-read. And they’re bargain priced, too!
“You MUST read LOVE IS DARKNESS & LOVE IS FEAR by Caroline Hanson…alpha male x2 .. vampire. Can’t believe you do not have it on your site!! You will LOVE LOVE LOVE”
TWO Alpha vampires. Now Desiree. How did you know that would appeal to me? Two bossy, arrogant, immortal, powerful and gorgeous alpha males. Nope. Not my type at all. Tee hee!! 😉
News!!! Exciting exciting news!! Some of it is HUGE, some of it is silly, but all of it made me happy!
Kresley Cole will be going on a Lothaire Book tour!! And guess who’s touring with her!? Paul Marron. Yep. Stop squee’ing. Oh what am I saying!? Squee away 😉 Why Paul Marron you ask? Well, did you realize HE is the model on the cover of Lothaire‘s book? I had no idea. Didn’t even recognize him. That guy’s got a ton of different looks. – Thank you Sherry for that tidbit! 😉
This one was recommended by Michele, after she downloaded the first book, free:
“Maryse, Just wanted to tell you that I got a book off of the free book link you posted last week. It’s called “Soul Hunger (Ra’s Chosen, book 1)” I am only on 5% but it looks very promising. Just wanted you to know while it’s free. LOL!”
and then:
“Maryse!! I am about 54% now.. I LOVE IT!! It reminds me a lot of “Black Dagger Brotherhood” but different too. I will be buying the series.. without a doubt! :D”
