Following my heart, one book at a time...
In the meantime, keep checking back ’cause I have a few hours of list-building for this one.
!!Riley Thorn and the Blast from the Past by Lucy Score <— LUCY SCORE RECENT RELEASE ALERT & NANCY LOVED IT! Here’s a tidbit from her review:Nancy: …like mile a minute craziness, and the more you read the less likely you will believe what you have just read. A fun filled book to read…
Tracy needs our book help! Oh this one already has my heart!! I’ve read a few sweet “pain-in-the-butt neighbor” romances (either in serene mountains, or on beaches) and I LOVE them.
I have a few that come to mine immediately, but I don’t remember the deaf daughter, and I feel like that’s something I would not forget.
She asks:
Hi Maryse
I have been a huge fan of your book blog for years. I need some help with a title of a book
H moves to a beach house and her noisy neighbor guy next door is remodeling his place. To make a long story short.
Melita is looking for this book! Oooooh I can see myself throwing my Kindle over this one!!! ROAR!!!!
She asks:
Can’t remember the name of the book. I read a book and year or two ago and can’t remember the name of it for the life of me.
I love getting book suggestions from your site. It’s fun too.
It’s about a woman in love with her brothers best friend and business partner. They’re having a secret affair and she gets cold feet about telling her brother and takes off for a week. In the meantime he drunkenly sleeps with her best friend and she ends up pregnant…
Yvette is looking for this one! Okay I totally read this!!! Or I totally remember this synopsis ’cause he was a total fake. Gah!! I could probably search my own blog and find it either in the releases/recommendations list, or my own review. And with a premise like this, and how much I totally think I read this, I’m pretty sure I read this.
First thought that comes to mind is “Groupie” by Ginger Voight (and the first thing that comes to mind is that she’s his assistant or something? Or maybe a groupie, but she’s plus sized and didn’t “look like” your typical model-rock star girlfriend… and he struggles with that at first.) This book was pure emotional angst and fury!! LOL! Here’s my Book Review.
Sue needs our book help! Historical romance lovers… this is for you!
She asks:
Hello Maryse,
I need help! Y’all have helped me before and I’m hoping you can do it again.
I read a book about 6-8 years ago, but for the life of me can’t think of it, including TBR, Goodreads, etc.)
The premise includes a mail order spouse, set in the late 1800’s (ish). As far as I remember the heroine wanted a slower change of life with less electronics. I don’t remember much about the hero, but I believe he was a farmer. Maybe?
