<— SATURDAY MORNING BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! This one (Darling Descent by Leighann Hart) just went live today!

A university psychiatrist. A curious undergrad. A dangerous attraction.

HAPPY FRIDAY AND HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!!! Good news for me! I successfully closed on my house sale, and I’m pretty excited. Kind of a nervous wreck over the last few weeks (preparing/fixing things in the house, moving out, getting accustomed to a new normal) but I’m happy! 😀

~~Now it’s time to build today’s list, so keep checking back as it will grow~~. IT’S READY!!!! 😀 Let me know if you have a “must-read” that should be on here. read more

HAPPY TUESDAY NEW RELEASE DAY!! We have a ton of new books coming in to today’s list (I’m working on it as we speak) and already have a few awesome sounding ones that have me jumping for joy!

P.S. I just finished a book yesterday and will be posting my review soon!! Tomorrow. 😀

BLURB JOLTS:Maybe Now: A Novel (Maybe Someday Book 3) by Colleen Hoover (RE-RELEASE as it was picked up by a publisher 🙂 .) The Hacienda (YEAH!! FOR ME! Possibly a haunted house, plus a priest and a forbidden attraction?? LOVE it!!) Breathless (her most coveted interview that she’s lost everything for… and now she’s stranded on a mountain with a killer!) The Blue Butterfly: A Novel of Marion Davies (the movie-star that was a mistress… and so much more!) By the Book: A Meant to be Novel (her publishing career is stagnant until she decides to take this author on… oh boy!!!! 😀 ) read more

~~9:02am~~ IT’S READY!! 😀 —> HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!! I’m so excited ’cause the book to the left is from one of my favorite authors. YAY ME!! But, I’m also adding a bunch of early bird releases as we speak, and I bet I’ll feel some blurb-jolts in the mix. Keep checking back.

THREE THINGS:

1.) My boyfriend smoked some amazing ribs this weekend, even during an extreme downpour (which wasn’t expected, considering how beautiful the day started out). The ribs turned out perfect. He, on the other hand, was soaked. Ooooops! read more

Reader Question – The historical romance where he finds her in the back of a cart, beaten, and kidnaps her to marry her…

April 30, 2022 By Maryse 4 Comments

Lyndol is looking for this one! Ohh boy this description is intense and make me ROAR! But I’m thinking him saving her is a good thing? *hopefully*

She asks:

Badly need help solving a book title

Trying to remember title of historical romance book.

The most stand out thing I remember is in the beginning she was in the back of a cart laying down because she had been whipped or beaten when the hero came up to, if i remember right, kidnap her.

Even though she was delirious from pain and fever she still fought back. I could be wrong but I think she was on the way to Scotland to be married. read more

Reader Question… Solved! The book about the Hero that shows up on her wedding day at the altar so she doesn’t marry her fiancé…

April 30, 2022 By Maryse 5 Comments

Nicola is also looking for this book! Oh boy I guess this is a “speak now or forever hold your peace” moment!! 😀 Short and sweet but I think this scene she describes is intense enough for someone to remember and know exactly what she’s looking for.

She asks:

Hi a book came up on my instagram page this week, but can’t remember the title.

They meet at a restaurant when the h is on a date with somebody else. They have sex.

6 years later it is the h’s wedding day (think her fiancé is called Chris…) however when she gets to the altar it is the H from 6 years ago as he can’t let her marry the Chris guy as he isn’t a good person. read more
