TODAY’S BLASTS FROM OUR BOOK PAST!

READER RECOMMENDATIONS & BARGAIN FINDS:

• Confessions on the 7:45: A Novel by Lisa Unger <— PSYCH-THRILLER & IT’S ON SALE!! Tons of AMAZING reviews!!! “…Selena Murphy is commuting home on the train when she strikes up a conversation with a beautiful stranger in the next seat. The woman introduces herself as Martha and soon confesses that she’s been stuck in an affair with her boss. Selena, in turn, confesses that she suspects her husband is sleeping with the nanny. When the train arrives at Selena’s station, the two women part ways, presumably never to meet again. Then the nanny disappears…”
• The Wives: A Novel by Tarryn Fisher <— ONE OF MY RECENT FAVORITES & IT’S ON SALE!! P.S. Here’s my review.

Elizabeth: …OMG all things holy….. I’m still reeling about this one and cannot get it out of my mind. Love your review.

• Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas <— HISTORICAL ROMANCE THAT JAN ENJOYED!

Jan: I finished the new Lisa Kleypas, Chasing Cassandra. Victorian-era romance with a highly intelligent self-made man hero who has more money than he’ll ever need, but doesn’t really know how to feel love. Yeah, one of those kinda guys. Lovely story. 4 stars from me. read more

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!! It was another calm weekend for me, where I focused more on organizing and sorting (including getting more focused on my low carb eating again). I like sorting and making lists so this was fun. 😉

THREE THINGS:

1.) I watched “False Positive” on Hulu and all I can say is..  Meh. A movie I’d expect on Lifetime (predictable) albeit crazy in the end. Though I guessed it right the whole way through, and I was still entertained. 😉 I’m easily entertained. read more
