Blurb jolts? These were the ones, for me! The Dark Side (YES!!!! Danielle Steel’s latest and it’s a psych-thriller… a new mother… and her personal demons!!! Eeeeeeeep!!), The Truth About Cowboys (sports star goes back home to take care of his grandmother, and she’s there…), Butterfly in Frost (Sylvia Day’s latest!!! She’s finally at peace with her life and exactly where she wants to be, and then her new obstinate neighbor moves next door. YAY!! I love pain-in-the-butt neighbor books!!! 😀 ), Catching Him (speaking of new neighbors, her new neighbor is cocky and arrogant. Tee tee!!) Already Gone (second chance romance… she’s the country star, and he’s the disgruntled cop she left behind!! I love cop-romance books, especially when they’re already disgruntled and pull her over!! *snort* 😛 ), How To Love A Duke in Ten Days (because Michele G just lost her mind over this one!! She said: “HOLY COW!! Phenomenal book in so many ways…not a typical HR at all. I 5 starred it – one of my faves for this year! If you’re even the least little bit an HR fan, you need to read this book!”) and… one from the bargain section: Father in Training (the single mom, and the deputy…)
1.) I received the most beautiful birthday bouquet last week, and I forgot to tell you about them, ’cause we ended up combining the Sunday & Monday post so here it is. And the flowers had a very subtle sparkle glitter on them. Took my breath away!! P.S. You can’t see them here, but at the top of those delicate branches are butterflies!!! 😀
