Following my heart, one book at a time...
Yolanda needs our book help, but this time, it’s more of a need for “more books like this” and I’m here for it! Okay okay… I know this is a VERY specific ask, but anything in this “feel” would make for a GREAT list!
This is EXACTLY what I consider a book that makes me want to throw my Kindle and I LOVE when that happens!! Also the fact that the heroine finds her HEA after all of the betrayal makes it all worth the initial pain. Reading pain… can be SO good!!
ROMANCE/COMEDY HORROR ALERT!! Okay okay I know what you’re thinking… UGH THAT COVER!! 😂 But, I love coming across fun conversations we’ve had in our book past, and here’s one that I never dedicated a post to, but that should have been front and center!
I suspect because it was part “horror” that maybe it wouldn’t fit the blog so much, but our book crew had so much fun reading it, that any book that gets this kind of response, should be featured!
BOOKS THAT “DO IT” FOR US: It’s often similar for many of us (since we are all into the same genre) however, there are touches that connect each of us differently to a book. We’ve called it our “book catnip”: the tropes that attract us, and the blurbs that gives us jolts. If you could come across your most perfect book, what is it about the book, that made you love it so much? What are your favorite things that hook you, to a book?
I came across the old conversation that still rings so true, today. We have similar tastes in books, we all love romance on different levels, and yet, sometimes a book hits us just right, and yet… not for someone else in our crew.
WE LOVE TARA SIVEC!! And… we had a wonderful “Tara Sivec” day on Wednesday on Facebook, celebrating our huge LOVE for her, her hilarious and/or sometimes super-angsty romance books and her amazingness altogether. She’s one of our OGs from back when indie romance authors took the book world (and my whole happy world) by storm and we couldn’t get enough of her.
And right now, we’re putting the spotlight back on her as she battles cancer, and we’re hoping to bring her books front and center of the limelight where they deserve to be! I’m hoping that all who haven’t discovered her yet, explore her outrageous and fun comedy romance, and dive into some of her emotionally angsty ones, too!
ANOTHER LIST FOR US!!! Here are Lisa T’s favorites & one of them, I’ve read too (and soooooo many in our crew LOVED it – super angsty and tumultuous and loaded in love trouble!!), and, then, the first one, I absolutely can’t WAIT to read!!!

Lisa: I was late reading Maestro but it broke my heart during some of it. I loved that it made me feel so many emotions while reading.
