We’ve Been Comparing Our Favorite Book Heroes – Our Top Ten Book Heroes List

So, a few days ago, my friend Jackie (who’s on a huge Kellan & Christian Grey kick right now) and I were discussing how great our book year was, and comparing our favorite book-guys. Many of our fellow Facebook readers got in on the action, and we’ve come up with some very similar lists! Although… Jackie and a few of you have included some books that I haven’t gotten to yet, and now I have more to look forward to!

I’ve finally amassed an impressive collection of worthy suggestions for you (and most are truly comparable, at least *feeling* wise to Jamie McGuire’s Beautiful Disaster). My Top Five Summer Reads – 2011

Lately I’ve been asked for my newest “favorites” list or my recommended summer reading list, so here it is. I’m going to cheat a bit by stretching back to June, but here in Florida June is summer, so I think it counts. Out of 26 books that I’ve read and completed (since June), I have picked my top five. Maybe this list’ll help keep you entertained for what’s left of these hot summer days 😉

Plus, I can’t contain myself. I’m absurdly excited that I’ve found so many great reads in such a short amount of time. Stuff that actually made me react, and react intensely. In fact, looking at this list again, I’m already wishing I would’ve made it longer. Oh well, I’ll eventually make an overall “Best of the Year” list. read more

My Top Ten Favorite Paranormal Series

Let’s start another top 10 list! While I began reading this genre because of my vampire obsession, I discovered that other “paranormals” could be just as exciting! 1.) Karen Marie Moning’s Fever Series (Fae related, but there are other “others” too) hands down – one of my most favorite – vampire or not – of all time! My mom just started the series and can barely sleep she’s reading so much. And when she does sleep, she’s dreaming of them! read more

My Top Ten Favorite Vampire Series

Shauna from my Facebook page started this “discussion”, and this was one list I was thrilled to make!  So here it is. My top ten favorite vampire-centric series.

Already, I have a confession. I tried to number them in order of favorites, but really, that was too hard since I liked so many of them equally. So, I “tied” many at the same number, and even still, I second guess my placement of them. Oh and, yeah ok, I also cheated cause there are more than 10 😉
