That’s it! Baird, the Kindred with whom I had fallen in love with in the first book of the Brides of the Kindred series, has now been replaced by Merrick. He’s scarred, both inside and out, and he’s HUGE, much bigger than his Kindred brothers because he is a half-breed, a mix of Tranq and Beast Kindred. He is so violent that he terrifies most people that meets him, even some Kindred warriors, except the lovely, very petite Elise, which he found in strange circumstances. read more

This book is sooo aaawwwhhhh! The love scenes in this one are just beautiful. I wish I had such a great experienced lover for my first time!

In this new story, Nadiah, Sylvan’s Tranq cousin, needs a Kindred to be her champion. She’s always wanted to fall in love with a Kindred but, since her presence at Sophie’s wedding where she kissed the wrong man, she cannot take Detective Rast out of her head. Not only is he from Earth, but he does not believe in her abilities to see the future. read more

Book Review – Forget by N.A. Alcorn

Forget (Changing Colors Book 1)
A great recommendation from my angst-loving book buddies. Plus… rock stars. Er, well… not yet (’cause the swoon-worthy hero is an up and coming one) but OH I KNOW that is coming…

It was touching, fun AND funny, with the witty banter, and the most AMAZING totally believable, laugh-out-loud “meet cute”. But even better than the meet-cute, is the accidental meeting again, that had me HOOKED! Now the butterflies were churning big time, and sure… it may have been insta-lust, but in this case, I TOTALLY believed it. I’ve known this kind of feeling before. I “saw” it. I FELT it. And I loved every single minute of these two and their entourage. read more
