Following my heart, one book at a time...
I have two reviews coming up shortly (both contemporary romance!!), and now I have to find a new read for my weekend. Maybe one from this list? Although two oldie but goodies are calling me from my TBR lists.
Or I could delve into another psych thriller. Those always seem to keep me on edge (and turning the page until I hit the end). Is it weird that I like the “scary” as much as I love the romance? LOL!!! As long as it’s in book-form, I’m good. DEFINITELY a NO in real life. 😉
Sunday surprises are turning out to be a whole lotta fun, ’cause TWO highly anticipated books are (or have) gone live today! Like that one to the left that had a fellow blogger in a public panic screeching “what just happened!!!???” LOL!!!! You know that’s book-candy to me. I LOVE freaking out.
And!!!! Penelope Ward & V.I. Keeland’s latest “Playboy Pilot” (ebook version) will be going live likely today, ‘cause they just hit “publish” early. Oh and you KNOW I’m stalking it!!!

DG: So I took FOREVER to get around to reading SOULESS by T.M. Frazier…(decided to reread Lawless first so I could be full on)…and I would give it a good 4.5 stars! LOVE, love, lovey LOVE Bear and Thia…a MC but not really all out MC book. Just really love those tatted bad boys…and Pancake!!! So…ready for the next 2 books in this series….*crosses fingers, hoping Ms Frazier telepathically hears my wishes for next ones to be about our ‘returning ghost’*

ALSO! ANOTHER 5 STAR ALERT!!! I want to know… has anyone NOT read this one yet? The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies Book 1) <— If not, you must! It’s one of my forever favorites, tore my heart out and twisted my stomach in knots. I 5-starred it, and it’s super-bargain priced today. My review.
BREAKING NEWS HURRICANE UPDATE!!!! I WOKE UP SAFE! And I still have electricity. YAY ME!!!! It was super scary last night (woke up at 1:30 am until 4:00 am with the winds just howling, blowing on the house and trees bending and the rain pouring non-stop) but everyone I know is safe and sound.
Of course some trees didn’t fare as well (minus a few tree branches that are hanging by a thread but pointing down to the ground). And the main roads here are completely flooded and closed. Yikes!!! That’s okay. I don’t need anything but to stay indoors and read my heart out. 😀
