HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!! I hope everyone has a fun (or relaxing) weekend lined up. I will be continuing to put my hands in the dirt (and read when I’m not in my landscaping mode). 😉

P.S. If you’re looking for something really awesome to watch (very heartfelt and it has that real “like our books” feel) I’d recommend watching “Gifted“. It’s about a guy (Chris Evans) that becomes a “single father” of sorts to his young niece that he raised from the time she was a toddler. Her mom – his sister – committed suicide in his home, leaving him with this tiny baby. And he soon learns (when she starts at a new school) that she is incredibly gifted in mathematics (just like her mother was). Pure genius. SO fun to watch!!! read more

OMG YOU GUYS. I just started watching Sex/Life on Netflix and I. AM. HOOKED!!!! (P.S. for those that don’t know about the book series this derived from, here it is: B.B. Easton – 44 Chapters Series <— and it has SO much LOVE from our book crew).

It is an emotional roller coaster of romance angst to the max, and potentially self-sabotaging decisions in FULL. FORCE. Oh yes… it is pure sex, sex, and more sex, but the gist of it is a married woman, and mother of 2 very young children feeling neglected from her most perfect man, her once-perfect husband. And well… thinking about her past, and that one love of her life that had the most emotional and sexually fulfilling impact on her. Oh boy it is PURE trouble. I’m only on episode 4… or is it 5? But either way, my marathon watch will continue tonight! read more

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!! I’m so excited it’s the weekend. I think my project this weekend will be to work on my landscaping and buy more plants!! YAY!! That’s my favorite. I’m all out of potting soil too, so I am going to get stocked up and dig my hands into the dirt.

Also… I’ve finally decided to take everyone’s recommendations and read Beautifully Cruel by J.T. Geissinger. And while I’m not a fan of that book cover, I AM a fan of Liam. Smoldering, and bossy, and dangerous… so fun!! This author is right up my romance pining & swooning alley. read more
